Unlike the idli cookers which are a little cumbersome to open, this idli steamer is great. The four plate idli stand is good enough for our family of 4.
Easy to use and clean. Don’t know about the handles though, they didn’t look sturdy. Wish the product had stronger handles.

This is not induction safe. Just after one use in induction stove both bottom inside and outside burnt. Since the return window is closed I cannot return it or replce. Otherwise the vessel is good. If it can be replaced, please replace it.

There’s no provision for whistle so we don’t know when there’s enough vapour and the idlis are cooked. We have to keep opening it to check which further removes the vapour and keep delaying the cooking

Build quality is good overall, except for the base which is slightly of a thinner Guage, which is I guess to build steam quickly. Hence my 4 rating. The idly plates are good, the depth is adequate and distance between the plates are OK.

I liked the product quality very much; good steel. However, the space between trays is less, due to which everytime – idli batter will stick to the tray above, and a soggy layer comes on top of idlis.
