Got all the stuff as advertised: the kettle, the stand & small plastic bowl & the heating base. All the features are great, but the electric cord is ridiculously short. Just about a meter in length, probably less. It doesn’t even reach the plug point. Have to use a flex box . Please consider this factor before buying. Preethi should seriously work on this issue. Oh, and the lid is loose fit. It would have been nice if the lid was a snap lid.
So far have used it for boiling water only. Once the water is boiled, the auto cut off gets to work. Haven’t tried boiling foodstuff – pasta & eggs, so can’t comment yet. Can be a good utility item in the house for elderly care & convalescents.

Though it’s worthy you can utilise in preparing tea , coffee ,magi etc in small quantity , bue it heats only one side .

I’ve been using it for a bit and it’s been working well so far. The first one i received was faulty out of the box so i had it replaced. The heating is even, even though the heating element is on one side. It will discolor the heating side after 1 use so be warned. Food has never gotten stuck to it. It’s pretty easy to clean. Perfect for a hostel room I.M.O.

I read and reread comments of kettle of this type from various companies like ORPAT, PRESTIGE, PIGEON a lot many times because I didn’t want to get myself disappointed with the product after buying any. I finally found PREETHI Armour Multi utility thing to have no negative comments(or least negative comments). So, I decided buying this.
I have been using it for the past one year and it’s working fine till now. This serves the need for boiling water and eggs, making noodles, pastas and stuff easily. The chord is really short. You can use this only with the extension box. The automatic cut off works but then it will not stop at your desired time. When I tried making potato fry in this kettle, due to overheating the cut off was automated and like after 5-8 mins it automatically turned on (You get a sound when it automatically cuts off. Don’t panic when it automatically cuts off. Because when I experienced this automatic cut off for the first time I thought I damaged the product.) It can be used to boil the dhal,vegetables but takes quite a longer time. More than 35-40 minutes. I have made aloo simple fry, bindi fry in this. Also one side of the plate is getting over heated beacause of which a small amount of noodles and stuff gets sticked to it. This isn’t a big issue though. It is really easy to hold and clean. It comes with a stand and a microwave cup. You can actually feel the smell of the stainless steel(one thing I hate). Appearance wise it is really good. Proper handling is needed since glass lid (with the pressure relieving hole) is provided. I would give a 4 star and would recommend. It’s serves great for hostellers. It’s a VERY GOOD product for 1400. I would NOT SUGGEST this for a PRICE ABOVE 1300-1400. If it’s above 1400 and you’re looking for multipurpose product thing, there are good electric cookers between 1500-2000.

The product is easy to clean n easy to cook in.However,the third time I used it,it began to get sticky in the Bottom.However, I’d still recommend it.
