Ive been a Preethi user for over 20 yrs and this new product was very interesting. I scrape coconuts on a daily basis it is a painful process spending 20 mins on it. Cocosta does it in 3 mins with fine coconut scraping. The safety cap is a superb concept. You just need to hold the coconut and keep rotating it up, doen and sides. The machine does the rest. As it is closed with a bowl below, all scraping is easily collected. Fabulous product. Good design in black colour. Does not move while operating. Also has a citrus juicer. If you scrape coconuts daily, then this is a must buy. High quality product from Preethi. Highly recommended.

The main grating feature of the product is sheer useless! While the safety feature is a good addition, it merely stops the scraper from working efficiently. And in case you’re thinking of removing the safety feature and trying it out? Let me tell you the machine is built in such a way that it will not let you do so! By far the most pathetic purpose ever. By all means do not waste your money. Also FYI, it’s not returnable!!!!!!

Please do not buy this product as it’s a waste of money..the worst part is that without the safety lid the product will not work.. finally had to scrap the coconut in our old traditional manual scrapper..

Both the feature grating/scrapping & citrus feature of the product fabulous! While the safety feature is a good addition & working efficiently. And in case you’re thinking of removing the safety feature and trying it out? Let me tell you the machine is built in such a way that it will not let you do so! By far the most useful purpose ever. By all means worth to spend your money if we need coconut for daily use. Also FYI, as per my experience of other PREETHI products, you hardly need any service but whenever needed team is very supportive!!!!!!
