Very Good Product from Preethi

The touch is not very sensitive, most of the times have to touch 2/3 times to shift to different cooking variant.
The plug point doesnt go with normal plug port, its a big one, so need to insert a new plugpoint for a big one in kitchen.
Temperature control and cooking are good, no issues with that!
Overall, OK product because of above reasons, i do not recommend this, buy a better brand!!

I’ve used this product before aswell. With quite a rigorous usage this product lasted for about 4 years. The glass top is the key to its long lastingness, because the glass prevents any liquid from entering the machine. Overall good product, go for it.

Had bought this since the earlier Preeti model that I was using (2000w) became inoperable since it’s press switches stopped responding. This model has 1600 W, but has nice touch control through a glass top. Hoping that the touch control will not go bad like press control like in the earlier model

I couldn’t get a better model in Amazon. This is good. But I was Looking for a better model

I’m quite happy with this cooktop. Initially I was a bit sceptical about whether it could make chapati. But I found that with the perfect timing and temperature control (and everything else that goes in chapati-making), one can easily make soft, well-cooked, fulfilling chapatis. (I’m not a rice person, so this really matters to me.)
The so-called temperature control isn’t calibrated in degree Celcius or Kelvin, because it makes no sense. It should actually be called flame control, and it’s rightly calibrated in Watt, which is the unit of power (i.e. work or heat per unit time).
I also noticed that the different functions or modes are not really necessary. Even though we select a particular mode, we still need to monitor and control the temperature and timing for every specific task that we will be carrying out. And it means that every task can be easily carried out on Manual mode once we have the understanding of what could be the gas flame equivalent of 120 W, 300 W, 500 W, 700 W, 900 W (and I never went above that). In fact, it would not be safe to blindly select a mode and leave the cooktop unattended for the task.
Overall a nice purchase. Easy to operate, consistent performance, safe to use, easy to clean. And now I realise how bad I am at writing reviews.

The touch buttons are useless. No button is responding to touch in one press. All good things if any are useless without proper touch buttons

This is a chinese mass manufactured product just like every other induction cooktop in market. The controls are quite difficult to use. The cooktop has a resume/ pause button. But it automatically turns on whenever we change modes. It displays wattage instead of temp in display. And touch sensitivity is not good.
Also one thing that was concerning was that the seller ‘Retail EZ’ had sent an opened box without any seal. And the appliance box was also not handled well during shipping. We didn’t return the product because it was working fine without any issues.
