I use it in my kitchen mainly for making tea/ coffee and occasional boiling of water.
The product serves the purpose well. I have noticed that for the same power setting this one cooks faster than my earlier induction cooker. I am happy with my purchase.
What I don’t like:
1. All the menu items shown are all nonsense. Neither the power settings nor the timings have any relevance to real cooking. They are simply absurd.
2. The push buttons are liable to fail after some use (I like the touch switches better.) However, this is true with all cheaper models of induction cooker. Since all cookers are liable to fail anytime, there is no point in going for costlier models.

Works well enough to satisfy its requirement. The plug input is 16Amp. So be aware before buying as it needs 16A plug port. Normally we people use 6A or 10A port in our house. So verify whether you have the 16A power point in your kitchen orelse make a new port before buying this. Heats the content faster than other induction stoves..thanks to its High temperature with low power consumption technology. Build quality is good. Less weight and sturdy.

Using the product since Nov 2015, It even survived a 1m fall with only a small chip in the corner, The temperature control + – buttons were not working because of lack of use, I had to switch to roti/dosa setting to adjust temperature, after few dedicated pressing it works fine now.
If I use it for prolonged time, I tend to run the on board fan again by pressing the on/off button twice, to keep the internals a bit cool. wish there was a fan control option, Keep the device well ventilated, . Very easy to clean, does’t need a power plug (recommended if you are using the highest temperature settings)

This is my third Preethi induction cooktop, first one went faulty due to Voltage fluctuation & second one purchased a year back. I tried to repair first one but Preethi service centre told it will cost more than 1000Rs. & there is no warranty. So,I didn’t go for repairing that one. Here only I didn’t like their service & warranty terms. Looks they are not comfortable with the servicing as they are made in China.
I feel it is better & reliable than other branded cooktops, mom also find it easy to use. So I recommend to buy this Preethi induction cooktop. Also will appreciate if this product is made in India by Preethi…
