When delivered it has missing screw and while making sandwich once loced the legs either sides are broken. It has least quality material. Ideal for few usages. Doubt is it an original prestige brand.

1) Tata quality. Think Tata nano, tata motors: would you buy a Tata engineered product?
2) 1000 watts, but unable to have enough engineering to divert the power to toast the bread, make it brown and crispy.
3) The light brown when you start toasting to green when it is done, is faulty. Green should indicate the desired temp is reached and ergo, the trip switch has turned it off, wait for sufficient cool down to re-engage switch and resume heating. But this is Tata engineering, the light color changes mean nothing, following rhyme or reason. It is green when you put the sandwiches in…. go figure.
4) Tata products don’t actually have to work. Their risk is covered by Government hair cuts. What that means is, Tatas get 95% of govt bank issued loan forgiveness. If the tax payers are subsidizing their company, why do they have to make any effort to make a working product????
5) we purchased one, tried it. The bread surfaces remained white with the faintest of brown lines,not crispy. The sandwiches felt more like microwaved than toasted. We returned and got a replacement, same problem.
6) so we returned it and got our refund.
7) Borosil at 700 watts is better than Tata Prestige at 1000 watts.
Total garbage. Poor plastic build quality.
The upper surface where “prestige” is written gets super hot. And the writing starts melting.
Pathetic garbage product. High risk. May shock and cause life risk, given poor engineering.
