The QN90A is the king of all QLED TVs, its black levels are incredible, almost oled like.\n\nJust a perfect companion to my ps5 as it has 4K 120HZ \nAnd supports HGiG for awesome HDR performance, the main reason i chose this over an OLED is the inevitable burn in issue.\n\nComing to the local dimming it’s really really good with the latest firmware update, it has 448 dimming zones which you might think is low compared to the 65 inch version but the screen real estate reduces too with 50 inch so it doesn’t matter.\n\nBy far this is the pinnacle or must say the zenith an LCD can be stretched to, and samsung did an amazing job.\n\nI mean It’s just not easy to control so many Mini Leds at 120hz and making an algorithm that doesn’t suck. So kudos to the engineers at samsung 👏 they’ve done an excellent job at getting this to work.\n\nAll in all An incredible purchase, could find this only on flipkart.

I have heard that buying Samsung TV is like a lottery sometimes you get good panels sometimes not so good. My panel has a little bit of a dirty effect and even if I ignore that brightness seems to be very low than what was expected.\nLow brightness can get really annoying in some games n movies.\nIt is the more annoying in-game mode when connected to a PC (I have a high-end PC and I play games that support HDR etc).\n\nI even ran some brightness test videos to verify the same, My panel would not go above 650-680 nits no matter what I tried all the settings. AS PER OFFICIAL SPECS THIS TV IS SUPPORT TO HAVE 1400-1500 nits.\n I verified this with the Samsung demo guy over their website as well. The same can be verified with all the reviews, people have got up to 2000 nits out of this tv in the same cases.\n\n\nNO STEAM APP in India – there is no Steam APP on Samsung TVs in India, we cant use the steam link to stream games on this TV. I think it’s region locked or something because on samsung.com it says that they support steam on Samsung TVs including qn90a.\n\nOverblown Greens – This tv has the tendency to overblown greens it feels like if an object has a green channel above a threshold it gets overblown to the max and that threshold is not very high. This is very apparent while playing games.\n\nApart from the problems listen above its an ok tv but again final quality or experience might depend on panel lottery and/or personnel experience. \nMight not be annoying for everyone but people who want the best quality picture might get disappointed depending on the quality of panel they receive.

Great flagship TV from Samsung\n\nQ90A 50 inch is a great deal at Rs 85000 it is quoting during sale excluding other card discounts . Even compared to other countries where it is priced at 1300$ or more, it is much cheaper here. OLED Panels and even the same Samsung TV (55 inch and above) of this model are priced much higher in India. Because it has VA panel, the black level is as good as it can get in LED tech. Did all contrast and colour test and one can hardly complain about the black levels unless comparing directly side by side with another flagship from LG/Sony Oled line, which is also not fair considering this is priced at least 30-40k lower than them. Colour richness is better than OLED from LG as far I have seen in person in retail store and brightness is real highlight with almost double of the OLED peak brightness. This is specially helpful if you don’t have a dim viewing room or a very bright room (sunlit or use TV with lights on). Although I found some reflections, specially if the light is directly shining in front of TV unlike the promised anti-reflective coating. Probably anti reflective coating is reserved for 55 inch and above models. \nSound is passable but not at par with 55 inch and above models which get 60W speakers, with this coming only at 40W. Also it has lesser dimming zones than the 55 inch model. Gaming in PS5/ Xbox would be great as it has one HDMI 2.1 port with HDR 4K 120 fps gaming along with variable refresh rate tech and Freesync/ G-sync support. But remaining HDMI ports are not fully compatible with those features which is hardly a problem as majority of people buying this TV would have only one console to attach to the TV at a time. And rest of the ports still support nice 4K 60fps gaming. No risk of burn in unlike OLED if you view static content as in logos of channels or start menu position if you use it extensively, gives additional peace of mind. \nBox doesn’t have wall mount, and it would be brought by Installation guy. You can call up Samsung toll free for installation, who does better job at it rather than Flipkart installation team of Jeeves who put a slight scratch on the back of my TV which I only noticed when Samsung service guy pointed it out. Both service are free and also wall mount is fixed and free. Only Problem with wall mount is that all ports are inaccessible after the mount and you have to pull out the TV before any new connection you have to do to the TV. To solve it you can buy third party movable wall mount that enable to tilt the TV for easy access. \nSAMSUNG TV plus app I didn’t enjoy much with limited channels, but the UI is intuitive and smooth with Alexa, Google and Bixby voice setup options. Air play 2 and Samsung users can connect all devices seamlessly with the TV in Samsung Smart things. Many apps such as Prime and Hotstar doesn’t don’t have video quality setting options and is probably Auto, which I can only assume to be a app bug for Samsung TVs or pending update which is to be provided later. These are the basics that should have been provided as in a fire stick, and would hopefully be implemented with OTA updates.\n If you have more than 8-9 feet of viewing distance between you and your TV I would recommend going for a larger size which would have a bigger difference than many minute picture details.\nOverall I would recommend the TV, considering all pros and cons if it fits your TV size requirements and budget. And welcome yourself to the world of premium TVs.

50 inch model.\nBrilliant performance for full HD and 4k. Those who like bright viewing excellent. Need to reset picture settings in movie mode for realistic picture. Google data by experts is really helpful. Viewing angle and reflection not a big issue. In bright mode watching cricket is tough. Again picture setting helps in this. Upscaling sd channels not up to the mark. Sound pretty decent. Have not tried gaming. Should look at tweaking dimming feature for better performance. Excellent tv but preset modes are useless. Need to sit with expert suggestions to get the best out of it.

Super sexxxyyyy tv, and yes its 120 hz not 60 hz flipkart has to change it in configuration , bcz of this i was about to change my decision , \ndoesn’t watch cable channel but ott aps working superb , awesome tv if u r looking for a high quality tv it has almost all required things\n\nOne more thing it has definitely set a benchmark now , oled are past with thr burning screen issue and decay of pixel quality over time, mini led and micro leds are the future now oled shud be compared with this beautiful and epic tv. \nSamsung shud do more with availability of apps. Lot of important.apps are unavailable however i dont knw whether in other brands they are available or not like tata sky app .

Picture Quality is amazing! 10/10 Samsung!! \n\nFast paced movies etc there is a bit of motion artifacts still tweaking settings to get optimum results. \n\nI use it as an extended monitor. Thought BGR placement would cause issues, however they do not. Everything is crisp. \n\nTo get 4k@60fps on other ports (HDMI1,2,3) you have to put input signal +. \n\nIf you unplug the hdmi connection, it forgets what was connected and resets the input signal+. Need to do that 2/4 times whenever reconnecting (sometimes need to unplug laptop/travel) come back, input signal+ is reset.zzz remember my setting come on!!\n\nI have a Mi4A, it has Android. It’s 3 years old, it takes 1min to come to the main screen. Tizen is fast. I like tizen more than android for a tv as of now. It’s very responsive. \n\nOverall very satisfied with the product. If you’re looking for a 50 inch below 1L this is the deal to go for

Very few useful apps supported. You can’t watch mkv movies through pendrive, nor you get any video player app in tizen store to support it. Even a 10 year old samsung tv supports subtitle through file manager, which again it does not. How tizen software has regressed, that I can’t understand. It is deeply frustrating.\nBarring this glaring shortcoming, tv is good on all other fronts.

Amazing buy. A new world of entertainment opened up with this television after upgrading from a basic Full HD tv. PS5 works perfectly with levels of HDR unseen previously. Black levels are exactly like expected of OLED TVs. Purchased this TV because of no permanent burn in risk as compared to OLEDs, and I think I made a correct decision!
