If you are looking at this, then you are unsure about those cheap TV brands and want something good and reliable. Yes, you are paying 10,000 more for the brand value and for the hope that it will not go wrong. Well, I can’t say anything about the reliability of this particular model over the years, but I am trusting Samsung here. Anyway, here is my saying on this TV,
Build
It is a very minimalist looking smart TV, with thin bezels. The connectivity is also good, e-ARC (HDMI) support means you can hook up a home theater setup if you want.
Picture
Coming to the picture quality, it’s very good, the viewing angles could have been better (this is because of the panel they are using) but I am more than happy with the quality. 4K HDR videos looks exceptional. The colors are vibrant, with deep blacks, and awesome contrast. HD channels look very good and SD channels look fine. You can always tweak and find the right picture mode. However, there is a small hiccup. The picture is a bit too bright and doesn’t adjust well in dark environments, even after you enable adaptive brightness in power menu. You have to manually adjust the brightness.
Sound
It is just not that good. Enough for a small room, but the quality and loudness isn’t there.
Smart Features
If you want to use this TV smartly, go for Pro version. Voice assistant makes the usage much better. [App switch, Channel change, quick question etc. assistant can do it all, but you have to press the button on the remote to summon, no wake word though]. The OS here is Tizen, famous applications are available, but not much else. The interface is a bit laggy at times, but not a big problem. I am a big fan of the remote controller, it’s very futuristic and easy to use [although you might hit the Netflix button accidentally when going for the back button]. It can act as a universal remote for your set-top box as well.
TLDR
Good picture quality (but poor viewing angles and adaptive brightness). Mediocre sound quality. Assistant feature is very helpful, remote controller is great. Basic apps works exceptionally (even though the app store isn’t that big). The interface is user-friendly (but a bit laggy at times).

Excellent picture clarity & sound quality, but I frequently encounter this problem, where upon turning on the TV, there used to be no audio. No, its not the mute/unmute problem, just so sound at all. Then had to perform sound diagnostics, or switch the TV off & on repeatedly, until the sound comes back. Tried contacting the customer care, but in vain. Now the problem has reduced, but not gone completely.

The tv having 3 HDMI port, gone 1yr 2 months. Repair cost 7k to 9k services centre estimate cost of tv 30k. No other way to get AV input. Now my tv dead body. Request to buyer pl go with alternate av out tv is the best and valuable. Now you decide….

Tv is okay. It cost around 50,000 rupee which does not justify the performance or feature we get. They must have paired slow processor with it because tv is really slow while opening an app or during startup. Similar configuration tv with android os you can get around 40k . It does not have dex. I now think that i should have considered other brands before buying. I bought 55 inch model.

Bought this 55″ smart TV to replace my old 43″ FHD TV. The TV was delivered in the morning as per the schedule. The Samsung technician called an hour after delivery and he installed it in the afternoon. I didn’t have to do anything. Pleasant experience.
TV looks stunning with thin bezel. The picture quality is very good. The audio is good but bit low. That is OK since thin TVs can not accommodate big speakers. The sleek smart remote is a delight to use. I do not have to program it for external devices. The smart feature detects devices automatically. It’s an RF remote, not an IR remote. So no need to point is towards TV. Clutter free smart button layout. A single button acts as Volume Up/Down and mute. The ability to set color preferences of each input device is great. My DTH set-top-box, DVD player and Internet apps can have their own color and audio setting. The upscaling of SD content on to the 55inch screen is perfect. No colour artifacts or motion blur. The DTH SD news channels look sharp and clean.
The TV do not have Chromecast built-in. The only available USB port is taken by my Chromecast dongle. If I have to play anything from HDD or Pendrive I have to pull out the dongle. Samsung could have provided at lease two USB ports. If not for this lapse I would have given a Five Star rating. Its been two weeks since I got the TV. Overall I am happy with the performance so far. Great purchase.
