I bought 1 TB SSD recently. It is slightly expensive than other SSDs. but this SSD performance is awesome. I am using it with my Dell Inspiron – windows 10 laptop having 16GM ram. After replacing my HDD with SSD, My laptop performance has been increased after using this. I can open multiple applications and browser tabs. Also file transfers speed has been increased a lot. Happy with this SSD.

I upgraded my old laptop’s HDD with this one and it was definitely worth it.
The bootup time has reduced a lot with under 30 sec startup times(was more than 2 mins).
And the Magician software was definitely a big help in data migration.
Few points to know before you buy this:
Check the compatibility thoroughly(size, connection type(SATA), etc.)
You would need a SATA to USB cable for the migration process.
Be careful about the screws when changing drives. (gave me some hard time)

I haven’t bought a new hard drive in like 20 years, so I didn’t realize a separate cable was needed to be purchased seperately.
once I bought that, the install was fine and I’ve been using this to store all my games. Now I know it’s not me when the Rainbow 6 Siege match doesn’t load up as quick, and now I get to be the one to say “ssd?” in chat.

i installed it in my 16 gb dell 3537 laptop and its speed is above 3k….and then i installed it in my 16 GB HpZbook 15 i7 8th gen it zaped to 8k … its SATA and giving far better speed than other brand nvme i compaired it with WD nvme blue sn570 in HpZbook 15 which gave speed about 3k
note:-this was done after installing samsung magician softwere with optimization to full performence

Es fácil de colocar, anque yo compre un adaptador para prevenir, no lo necesita ya que tiene los orificios para colocarlo sin necesidad de algún adaptador, prendió de manera inmediata y es más rapido que el anterior disco duro, ademas bajas un programa con el cual puedes verificar el estatus del disco, lo recomiendo

My mother board has three boot speed options Normal, Fast and Ultra Fast
With this configuration my PC was talking a time of 7 minutes and 50 Sec In Normal Boot Speed
6 minutes 50 sec in Fast Mode and 5 Minutes and 20 sec In ultra fast mode.
After replacing the 1 TB WD Blue 2.5 Inch HDD with this SDD
the times are
Normal Mode 56 sec
Fast mode 26 sec
Ultra Fast mode 13 sec

I bought a 1TB variant of this Samsung ssd for storing and playing games on it. This is the best sata ssd you can get and if you are confused between this and mx500
Buy mx500 if the budget is restricted the main difference between these two is mx500 comes with 360TBW and 870 evo comes with 600TBW and yes both come with dram. I am using this with USB to SATA case.
