Brought it for my launch PS4 because it was feeling sluggish as it had the original hard drive, installing was super easy and the PS4 feels snappy again and games load a bit faster. I went for the 2 Tb model as games installs are ridiculous large but I think it’s worth the cost.

If you use this is a general data disk, or a cache disk, its great. If you’re using it to copy (write) large amounts of data like over 100GB at a time, then bear in mind that it slows down. It will start at about 450 MB/sec but slow down to about 150 MB/sec which it maintains. This is not a heat or a thermal throttling thing. I’ve tried with cooling fans and heat sinks too. The slowdown mark is about 50GB sustained. If you write file/s under 50GB you’ll see full speed.

je dois avoir 5 SSD sata dans ma tour rien que pour de l’installation de jeux vidéo, j’ai même du acheter un hub de prises USB car sur ma carte mère, il y a longtemps que je n’ai plus de câbles d’alimentations de libres!
Ce SSD Samsung je ne l’ai pas branché sur mon hub mais dans ma tour car c’est le meilleur que j’ai pu avoir, alors attention aux personnes qui disent que les QVO ne sont pas très bon car le cache de téléchargement se rempli vite, alors saché qu’un cache se vide/nettoie comme n’importe quel disque dur/ssd, Steam à même une option dans ses paramètres pour vider le cache alors bon, les donneurs de leçon ça va hein !!
C’est le meilleur que j’ai eu car je télécharge & installe beaucoup plus vite mes jeux sur ce ssd que sur les 4 autres, de ce fait,
je le recommande sans problèmes mais n’oublié pas de laisser 100-150go de libre car un ssd trop rempli peut ralentir pour certaine tâche(car il a besoin de place & si vous êtes à 10go il va devenir lent)

I have replaced this 2TB SSD in the laptop with the old HDD and it’s really fast now. I’m going to use for few months & re-review the product. I just felt that it’s just a little bit on costly side but it has made my laptop like new. OS boots up in 10seconds
