GENUINE REVIEW AFTER 1 WEEK USAGE !
Design: It’s a classic design. Not much fancy. Simple but elegant.
Build: This is a Samsung Made In India product and the build quality of both the interior unit as well the outdoor unit is perfectly balanced.
Cooling: Coming to cooling, it depends on various factors like the airproof sealing of your room as well the heat absorbance and sun effect in the particular room.
For my room, this AC cools it in 20-25 mins when on 24 degrees and around 10 mins in 16 degrees.
For a full air tight room, cooling effect will be more comparatively.
Energy Efficiency: I checked it personally for two consecutive days.
1st case: At 24 degrees, I ran the AC for 1 hour and the energy consumption was 1 unit/per hour
2nd case: At 16 degrees, the energy consumption rangers between 1.3 units/hour to 1.5 units/hour depending on voltage fluctuations in your area.
CALCULATE THE COST AS PER THE UNIT RATES OF YOUR CONCERNED STATE.
Value for money: Yes, definitely this is a value for money for my requirements.
4/5 stars from my side. 1 star less only because the outer unit is a bit noisy which is not of much importance.

I was looking for four-way cooling AC. The remote I received is having buttons for four-way cooling, but the AC doesn’t support that. It has been highly disappointing.

It not making enough cooling for my 10*10 room. Called daikin support twice so far due to plastic smell issue and water dropping issue. Customer support is so far good. But not feeling good about the purchase. Should go for little higher expense and get peace of mind.

The indoor unit makes some creaky sound every 2 seconds which is annoying.
The outdoor unit gets too loud. Did not expect this from Samsung being a reputable brand. I have other 1.5ton ACs from Daikin and Hitachi and they run real smooth without any noises. This current 1ton Samsung one makes much of noise.
Outdoor noise is fine but the indoor creaky noise is bad.

This is best in its segment. It’s been 16 days of usage and I am really happy with its performance. No other brand is providing such quality under 32K.
Note : Please read the pros and cons before buying.
Pros :
1. Performance is adequate/satisfactory. Maximum room size has to be 140 sqft.
2. 5 speed/power mode (40%-120%) is really awesome. When I sleep alone I switch the AC to 40% power.
3. Even/uniform cooling. Ensures 0 fluctuations of temperature for a good sleep.
4. Design is good and futuristic. It’s a Matt design and looks really premium. Don’t buy if your looking for a glossy finish.
5. Display/beep off : it’s a very useful mode for people having kids under 3 yrs. It’s operation is very silent.
6. Outdoor : outdoor unit is silent and the fan grill looks clean in design.
7: Smart install check option : Power + mode + set button for examining correct installation.
Cons :
1. No Turbo mode : Fast mode given doesn’t work as Turbo mode as it reduces the temperature to 16°C which is not smart.
2. No Horizontal swing : just vertical swing is there.
3. No Remote display : people looking forward to a green/orange display in ac remote or illuminated radium buttons will be disappointed.
4. No Clock : Clock is not there in remote.
5. Setting reset : every time the ac is turned off. The custom settings (speed/fan) will be reset to 24°C each time you turn it on.
5. Installation : Samsung installation is not there. Jeeves does it for them. Supervise while the installation guys are installing the indoor unit.
Conclusion : Cons are not a deal breaker. I had already read the cons before buying it. Buy it without any doubts.

Overall ac is too good I installed by myself..I have been using for 20 days I didn’t get any problems but the problem is ac filter that is on the top of the ac if want to clean it is little bit difficult… If u want to save the power bill u just set the ac 26 or 27 degrees with 40 % the out door until working very slowly without noise without pressure if u put auto mode it will take more prest until reach the temperature I am using every day 10 to 12 hrs it consumes 3.5untis of power.. u can check power metre I did it..
