This is a high point in Mobile technology. Nothing has come close till now. Will take something really special to beat this.
An absolute piece of art.
Whenever I hold it in my hand, I thank my kids who insisted on this phone, notwithstanding the steep price tag. Froma listed price of 1,15000/- I got it for 70K with all deals and credit card discounts.
1. The drop dead gorgeous looks is just the beginning. Simply attracts eyeballs!
2. Fast. Superfast. Lightening fast .
3. Camera quality to die for. For a layman. Or for a professional.
4. Screen Display quality. Breathtaking viewing.
5. The S Pen. I never bothered about the S pen when I bought he phone. Now, It is my lifeline. From simple shopping to-do lists to jotting a number when on call to managing my schedules, and of course my son’s drawings .. S pen has made my life simple and colourful too!
6. Perfectly balanced in hand. Large phone, perfectly weighted.
7. Amazing audio quality.
8. Curved screen that makes it look like a 100,000 Rs phone.
9. Once this comes in your hand, you will slowly stop using your tablet or laptop.
10. Samsung support. I bought it on Amazon, yet walked into a Samsung store who unboxed it for me assuring me that any problem , he will take up with Samsung!
11. Battery is Very Good. But not out of the world like other features. I have to charge once in 24 hours with an average of 8 hrs use per day. My break up of use 50 % whatsapp (so photos, videos music is part of it), 10 % each Gmail, Music, Youtube, Camera, and other Audio and video.
12. I sat till late night trying to find a piece in market and finally getting it .
If you find one in the market, just go for it.
Comparison between Iphones and Samsung Note 20 Ultra – this is comparable only with Iphone 12 Pro Max and above. But Note 20 Ultra beats Iphone Pro 12 Max hands down in design and speed. Take a call accordingly.
It is three months since I have bought this phone and my happiness curve is only rising day by day! Just go for it if you find it in stock.
And the amount of research we have done before we bought this phone… just ask any questions and my 14 yr old gadget freak son will answer them for you!!

I have been a OnePlus 5 user since many years and I got this beautiful piece in a good discount offer from the Diwali sale, thanks to Amazon. So, after 2 months of usage, I feel now is the right time to write the review.
Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G Detailed Review:
=======================================
PROS:
1. Screen: As soon as you open the box, the beautiful 6.9″ curved screen takes your breath away (There are people who prefer flat screens and that is surely their choice but I myself loved the curved display experience so far). It is a WQHD+ screen with refresh support till 120 Hz (Though you cannot use both together, bummer!) But even at FHD+ resolution, the screen is an absolute beauty and media content consumption is a treat for the eyes.
2. Beautiful body: The moment you turn over the phone, the body and build simply leaves you in awe. I had brought the signature Mystic Bronze and I have to say, Samsung has struck just the sweet spot in the aesthetic department. The frosted finish resists most fingerprints in daily use and even the camera bump doesn’t get fingerprints unless you deliberately try and imprint them on the surface of the camera bump. 10/10 there.
3. Processor: This is where I really hated Samsung initially. The Exynos version stands nowhere when compared to the Snapdragon 865+ variant but.. unless you are some damn heavy applications which are not properly optimised for mobiles, then and only then will you see any visible problems. In general use and even for heavy gamers who want to enjoy matches on COD and Freefire (bye bye PUBG, sigh!) there is nothing stopping you from getting a rich and immersive experience from the Note 20 Ultra. Yes, the load time of the games is a couple of seconds longer but hey, if you are splitting heads, I would really not sweat over it. In fact, in all my gaming sessions on COD, the only thing I noticed is a slight warmness on the back but again that is perfectly normal since we are talking about around 2-2.5 hours of gameplay here. So, long story short, it ain’t as bad as they say!!! Benchmark scores are one thing, yes. But actual usage is a different league in itself and I feel that the Note 20 Ultra does a pretty good job and handles most heavy duty games without any hiccups.
4. Camera: Planning to buy an entry level DSLR? Don’t bother. With the Note 20 Ultra you get a beautiful setup which will really satisfy that need of taking life like shots. The triple camera setup has a 108 MP wide angle camera with 12 MP telephoto lens and another 12 MP ultrawide lens.
The best part about this setup over the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is the Laser Autofocus (AF). Delayed Focusing on subjects was a major complaint in Galaxy S20 Ultra. Thanks to the dedicated Laser AF you can use the depth mode and the focus will be there in a fraction of second on the subject.
Samsung has always been a killer when it comes to camera and though it comes down to personal preference, I for one, prefer the more life-like shots of the Note 20 Ultra over the artificially amputated and beautified shots of iPhone 12 or 11 Pro Max.
The selfie camera is a 10 MP lens but don’t think for a second that the selfie game on this phone is weak!! No no no. The lens is capable of capturing HDR+ pictures and 4k super steady videos. To test this myself, I shot a selfie in pitch black (couldn’t see my own hands 😁) conditions and thanks to the extremely bright display, the shot captured was still good enough to be used in atleast a WhatsApp DP (for a couple of days 😉 ) So it all comes down to the software under the hood and Samsung is the champion in the Image processing software.
Talking about the night mode, overall, Samsung software does a perfect job in capturing low light shots. It agains all comes to the software.
I could go on about the other features about the camera such as 8k recordings, audio selection in videos to use only the mic sound or the surrounding sounds but so far haven’t used it but safe to say, there is no flaw seen so far in the camera during my usage.
6. S-Pen: I know some of you might feel weird that I wrote a separate category for the S-Pen but believe me, Samsung has taken the Pen to a whole other level with the S-Pen. Using AI to predict the next movement direction, Samsung has managed to reduce the latency to freakin’ 9 ms. Using the S-Pen feels just like using a real pen and with the dedicated Samsung PenUp app, you are free to show your creative sides with immersive drawing sessions. I am not an artist myself but I still managed to sketch a half decent burger that made me feel good 😂 (I’ve attached the picture of the same)
7. Battery: The Note 20 Ultra packs a 4500 mAh battery pack which is decent for a normal use but due to the Exynos performance, the battery drain is sometimes more than what I expect but thanks to the super fast charging, I can easily get from 40 to 60 percent in less than 30 mins. The supported charger is a 25W charger and though that might sound less but I feel Samsung has done a wise move here since it will prolong the overall battery life.
On top of this, you get all the bells and whistles you could ask for in a phone, wireless charging, Samsung Pay, Wireless Dex, etc. You name it, you have it.
=======================================
VERDICT:
If you have the budget, don’t think and just go for this.
This 5G ready phone is going to keep you happy for a long time.
Mid level gamers, photography enthusiasts, creative artists, this is a multi-purpose phone.
