SAMSUNG HW-Q800A/XL Dolby Atmos 330 W Bluetooth Soundbar

Bought this during October 21 (Hyderabad)& here is my opinion on Samsung HW-Q800A\n-zeroed on this after going thru many positive reviews internationally (like RTings.com)\n-excellent built quality \n-wireless sub is not so punchy even when it’s levels are kept at max (+6).. some times I wonder nothing comes out from sub .. \n-the local Samsung Techies don’t know anything about Soundbars Initially I thought its mechanical issue in Sub & returned the whole product .. they replaced a brand new one & still I feel NOTHING COMES OUT from SubWoofer \n-for Dolby Atmos I suggest the following \n-sound bar has eARC .. see that ur TV also has eARC (not ARC), then only u can enjoy Dolby Atmos \n -connect both eARCs with HDMI2.1 high speed data cable only (not the one supplied in the pack)\n-YouTube videos Donot give output in Atmos format till date \n-streaming apps on ur TV (like NETFLIX) never give output of Dolby Atmos . You need to purchase NVIDIA Shield pro (or) Apple 4K & plug in directly at HDMI (in) port of this soundbar & see the magic ..Boom .. ENJOY😎\n-sub woofer works fine if content plays from HDMI (in) \n-Atmos effect is fantastic.. to enhance ur experience switch off fan & switch on room AC\n- you can purchase wireless speakers separately (swa9500s) sold not yet in India & upgrade to 5.1.4 configuration

Dont’t buy this if you are used to JBL sound. You will immidiately feel the lack of tight punchy bass. Soundbar itself is great. It produces very clear and detailed mids and highs but subwoofer is very mideocre. It reminds me of my very old Creative brand subwoofer. It’s a very disappointing product for watching movies. Vertical surround effect is also not noticeable at all. I should have gone for JBL again. It is also a lot cheaper than this.
