Great product overall.
Pros:
1. Clear picture using USB C, decent viewing angles although not as good as an IPS display.
2. USB power delivery and data transfer works really, really well. Charges even when the display is off, and can wake the display from a turned-off state if a laptop is connected.
3. The USB ports on the back can be used as a USB hub when a laptop is connected via USB C – this means you can connect a mouse/keyboard/audio etc to the monitor, and just connecting a laptop will enable all those peripherals to work as if they’re connected to the laptop itself.
4. Picture quality is top-notch. For example, watching Avatar: The Way of Water in 4K with the lights off can be almost psychedelic.
5. Supports multiple protocols – AirPlay among them, which means it is great work Apple devices.
6. All basic apps work well enough.
Cons
1. Lack of Android apps means some of the more fringe OTTs may not be available to watch here.
2. Provided HDMI cable seems to be defective, picture using that was so poor I thought about returning the whole thing. Luckily, bought a Spigen USB C to USB C cable capable of 100W PD, data and display sharing, and that worked fine.
Things to note:
1. Please setup the display stand using a screw driver. I had not done so and it fell off the stand, luckily while I was sitting in front of it.
2. The stand in the images on Flipkart and elsewhere is not the stand delivered with the monitor. The stand I have is less stylish, and somewhat inferior in design but does the job well enough.

This monitor is something else. It’s actually a SMART TV plus Monitor where it serves you two folds. You can very well use it a monitor with its brilliant 4K display plus when not connected with laptop, you can switch it to the Smart TV mode and binge watch, and even use Office 365 or even Samsung DEX apps. Samsung pulling off this unbelievable piece of hardware, going a notch higher than the rest proves just about right. A happy customer indeed! Also kudos to FK, for making sure I get this huge monitor without any damage that too one day earlier.
