SAMSUNG with Google & Alexa Assistant Smart Speaker

Though atmos but it is incomplete without additional surround speaker kit sood separately like sw9200s etc which is impossible to find as of now,I tried eery where so just a pro tip to get the full experience if atmos and dts x you need external speakers!!
Pros :Great sound and deep bass
Q symphony in samsubg tvs are delight each other I have q800 they are pretty loud on its own as they have dolby atmos and a subwoofer .
So the q symphony just doubles the output and its Ots feature is game changing…but youvneed to have a samsung
As this feature wont work with other brands
Its has 4k pass hdmi input
Cons: Only has arc output instead if earc its funny and stupid as it is a dolby atoms so obviously we will get a compressed version of atmos ,seriously it makes no sense having a arc out put for a soundbar that has atmos and dtx and for that technology only it must and should have earc .instead of arc whuch is for older version of dolby
2.:The rear speaker kit comes which i say is A must like sw 9100s or any version and should come as a bundle accessory when u buy together you get a discount on these compatible accessory almost everywhere in abroad but in India forget the bundled accessory
the worst part is its not available anywhere.,even the samsung showrooms have no clue, ive searched everywhere on net including flipkart and alike sites but not a single trace
The reason I am stressing on thus external speaker kit is that you wont ne abke to enjoy the atmos s effect if you dont have surrround speakers as they arent nomal surround but atmos upfiring speakers
Q600a jjust had an acoustic beam insttead a proper upfiring and sude firing soeakers which bounces ftom wals creating the 360efffect like the the upper models.. So it us better to buy a dolby digital sounbar with surround speakers
3:Its not comoatibke with smart things so say goodbye to personalise setting and get stuck with the the four geniric setting..leave it to adaptive id say as you cant do much with the sound setting
Pro tip.. samsung tuzen os is the worst
So my advice plug a firestick4k its lag free and us dolby atmos co oatibke and will give u way better sound option then tizen

I have a sony 1000 w home theater I have been using for last 10 years and samsung q600a is my recent purchase. Compared to the Sony, the samsung q600a is more crisp in terms of sound clarity. Sony is great for music but for voice and little sound notes the samsung takes a lead. If you are a music lover then go for sony but for movies go for samsung as in sony the background music often overpowers the dislogues.

This is the cheapest 3.1.2 soundbar below 25k.
no wifi or app control. but just set the sound mode to adaptive and surround to on or off and no need to keep changing any more on soundbar
set the hdmi setting in tv to passthrough to get Atmos and 5.1.
all good no complaints as my requirement was for a sound bar with center channel so my dad can listen at lower volumes 😉

This soundbar is for TV and home theaters. I purchased this soundbar as sound in my Samsung QLED was not up to mark for movies. Please read following:

1. Soundbars are not for music. You get a better sound with MP3 on a 3.5 mm supported 2.1/5.1 channel audio. If you wish to have full potential of this soundbar in terms of music, you need hi-res audio, like FLAC or DTS. Or you buy original CDs and play them in your home theater, then only you can experience that level of music. With CD audio, FLAC or DTS, it can easily beat any 5.1 channel audio system.

2. Before going for such soundbar, it is to be considered that Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Atmos contents are very limited as of now. To get full potential you need movies with Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Atmos audio (with 5.1 channel or more). With that your experience of watching movies will be next level.

3. Q-Symphony mode with Samsung QLED TV gives you additional advantage in terms of surround sound. You get full potential of Atmos with crystal clear sound. Samsung TV remote is also controlling both TV and Soundbar, so no need to carry n number of remotes.

4. Build qualify is superb. Subwoofer is wooden and looks premium. Subwoofer is wireless, which connects automatically to soundbar and you can place anywhere in the room without worry. It always gives you sound along with soundbar. Even if you place it behind you, you get base direction from soundbar itself. On other hand soundbar is heavy in terms of build equality. It delivers what it promises.

5. It has one extra HDMI and 1 extra USB which can be used to connect HDMI input devices/USB devices to TV without directly connecting them to TV. (This option work like charm in Samsung TVs, I am not sure about others.)

Theoretically, Bluetooth and Digital audio out support upto a level of bit rate and beyond that it gives compressed audio. Hence in order to experience full potential of Dolby Digital Plus or Dolby Atmos, you need, HDMI-ARC/EARC supported devices. By the way this do not have HDMI-eARC Port (which was not expected, but it does the job of ATMOS, without HDMI-eARC).

Earlier before this soundbar, I used to have 5.1 audio system with 3.5 mm jack. Truly speaking, I rarely see any difference between 5.1 audio system and this soundbar in terms of Surround Sound. Since I had no 3.5 mm jack in my Samsung TV and the experience of 5.1 audio system via Bluetooth was not up to mark, I decided to choose this Soundbar. But it was impressive and in some movies with Dolby Atmos, it was giving some extra sound effects which were not experienced before.

But as I said, you need right content to experience this device. Choose wisely, overall it is a good soundbar in you have appropriate format of video and audio. But in this price range no other soundbar can beat it.

Best soundbar for the price.

After an extensive research and comparisons and having checked quite a few offline stores I have delighted to settle with Samsung Q600A. Have checked the reviews at rtings site as well comparing with the most popular/costly soundbars. Finally I have bought this from flipkart(thanks to Flipkart for bringing newest models at affordable prices) and I might be the first one to buy it and i am pleased to say it’s a beast in this price range considering a newer model with Atmos which is a deadly combination to go with my Sony TV.

Pros

1) Excellent sound out of box set up and with amazing presets.

2) Nice build quality speaker sound bar.

3) Sound never seems loud on higher volumes and while listening to music its crystal clear.

4) Able to create deep bass effects while watching movies must if you are a more of a Netflix/Prime/Apple TV guy. Trying to watch all old and new Movies with the soundbar again.

5) I don’t have a gaming console and it does have a GAMEPRO MODE which would be a boon for the Gamers.

6) Pair it with Alexa and instantly you would have a wifi speaker and its so easy connecting to it. You just need to Alexa. \
