Excellent sound stage feels like wearing over the ear headphones and treble is seriously awesome with accurate amount of bass and vocals, battery backup is decent, only thing should have improved is a 10 to 20 percentage of loudness should have been improved however it is addiquate for most of the audience but most of the time I listen music at large volumes

Honest review –
The audio is very good. And it fits nicely in ears so that you can perform casual excercise.
But I was expecting a better quality of mic. The speaker is heard with low – distant audio.
So if you are looking for day to day personal usage then it’s a good choice but for someone who would use it for office calls then this would definitely give you mic related complaints

I got these earphones (CX400BT) around 2 months ago. When I first put them in, I almost cried due to how clear the sound quality was. I have never listened to earphones which sound this good. The sound profile is very neutral, so there is no emphasis on bass, mids or treble. Everything is flat, which means the music you listen to will sound almost exactly like how they audio engineers wanted their songs to sound. They were very comfortable, and battery life was DECENT (not great). The case felt premium and the passive noise cancellation was very good as they fit snug in the ear.
However, two issues, one minor and one major. From the get go, they had a quite noticeable “hissing” sound when volume is off or low. From my research I understand that this is normal with these earphones, however it can be quite irritating if you’re not used to it, especially since my CX Sport earphones don’t have the same issue. The major issue is that after two months of use, my right earphone completely stopped working. I tried factory resetting them and nothing worked so unfortunately had to return them. A very unfortunate outcome for a phenomenal pair of earphones. And I bought them at 150 and now they aren’t really selling them anymore, instead selling the 2021 CX wireless for 200, so I will have to buy other earphones as this is over my budget. Really wish Sennhesier would have replaced my CX400BT.

I have been a big fan of Sanheiser past 10 years and this TWS is pure gem, the audio output is exceptional and very pleased to hear, the good thing this one comes with half of the cost of Momentum 2 without compromising sound quality, pls all the pure quality sound fan can go ahead and buy.

Sound quality is great for the price I paid. Sound quality is always difficult to measure since it varies so much from person to person, but it worked well for me.
The battery life is my favourite part because it charges in the case and can last me using it for a couple of days at work and on transits for the rest of the week before needing to fully charge again.
In terms of noise cancellation this set of earphones don’t have active noise canceling in it, however as they are in-ear earphones, they were really well to block out noise around you. Whenever I had them in, even when listening to something pretty quietly, I couldn’t hear when people came to talk to me at my desk.

I was initially pretty confused that I have invested my money on wrong product. I was using crossbeat’s pebble tws and tweaked equalizer by viper4android, which sounded amazing. After getting some problems with them I bought 400bt. Which was a expensive upgrade for me. I really care about music only. I use tws as it can be hid in ofc easily 😁. So in my first use I was pretty heart broken as it sounds exactly the same. Than in a random way played A.R. Rehman sir’s playlist on Spotify. Bang, it turned me around. Khwaja mere Khwaja & kun fayakun. The sitar and tha tabla in the background gave me goosebumps. You have to little bit patience with these earbuds. But expecting a little bit more bright sound staging at this price range. And yes they say it gives about six hour of battery life but in my usage it gives about 4 hour. That’s not fair actually. I am going next for lypertek tevi. Than I will make up mind about these earbud, weather I have invested in right product or not.

Iam a big fan of BOSE( for the audio it provides). I have 3 BOSE products from past 4 years. I heard a lot about Sennheiser sound clarity and wanted to try it. I went with CX400 instead of Momentum 2 due to budget constraints and the fact that there is no much difference in the sound quality they both offer.
Comiing to the sound:
If you want a wireless earbud just for the audio quality……this is the GO TO product.
It’s passive noise cancellation is really good and on par with ANC.
Case could have been made to look a bit more premium and battery backup of the case could have been improved.
Instrument separation is very good but I preferred the instrument separation offered by BOSE ( personal preference).
But the overall hearing experience is awesome and I would give the same points I give for BOSE as this product has an amazing treble to offer. Bass is decent and does justice to the original bass in the song. It won’t increase the bass in the song randomly ( that’s how a song should be heard) but some people who love extra unwanted bass, they will have to look towards Beats earphones.
The Equalizer in the Sennheiser app works perfect.
Bluetooth connectivity works flawless in close quarters and there is no disturbance in audio even while I was riding the bike at 60kmph. However, the bluetooth connectivity is week when you go to an other room inside the house ( which is not a big problem for me) .
To sum up….If your priority is to experience the essence of music, hands down you can go with this product.

I have been using Sennheiser headphones since 2011. I like them so much because the music details from their headphones are so good. I bought CX 400 BT in December 2021 and the right earbud stopped working in May. Only a metallic click sound came from the right earbud when clicked the touch button. After contacting their support team, they asked me to mail the earbuds for review. After a few days, they sent me a new set of earbuds as a replacement. Now in November, the right earbud stopped working again with the same problem. I wish Sennheiser to concentrate on improving the durability of their head/earphones.
Pro: Good music quality like the Momentum headphone series.
Cons: 1. The mic is not good for calls, especially in a noisy Indian atmosphere. You have to cover your face or mouth with your hand or book or anything to direct your speech to the earbud. Otherwise, people at another end can’t hear you loud and clear. 2. At least in my case, it stopped working twice in 10 months.
I also wish Senheisser to improve the quality of the mic in these earbuds.

It gives premium sound . Build quality is also good. drawbacks are ear start paining after few hours due to the size and there is also a battery issue . battery drains very quickly. Overall it’s an average product of sennheiser
