Bought this machine for my mom an year back. After initial setup, when tried for a trial stitching, stitches were woven in reverse direction; forward/reverse lever didnt work. Initially thought of returning or calling authorized service, but me and dad tried our luck by opening the machine and analysed the issue. It turned out to be a slipped rail/crank like mechanism which enabled stitching motion in right direction. We fixed it and now works like a charm. The slipped/misaligned crank was probably due to a sudden shock while shipping, possibly a drop. The diy fix and examining the internal mechanisms gave extra confidence about the overall build of this product. Also got it for a lesser price.

Very good for beginners. It looks good with neat design and built up.\n\nI have registered for Demo through Singer toll free number and next day Technician came in Bangalore. He explained everything so neatly and with patience. Singer Customer care also very good. \n\nPlease keep the Invoice as it is considered as warranty of 2 Years. Any additional parts are available in showrooms on payment.\n\nNot to forget Flipkart service, they never disappoint. Next day delivery.
