Amazon Customer –
To cancel previous negative review. I’ve never used anything but the standard sized earbud tips for my ears, but the ones Skullcandy provided ran a little small. Once I had the larger tips on, the bass was massively improved.
If you’re having trouble like I had, and many reviewers on here have had, try using the bigger tips for much better sound.
Microphone is still so-so for voice quality, but at least doesn’t cut out like many other pairs will.

I bought the Dime 3 for the sleek, minimal and inconspicuous design, the price (essentially disposable in case I lose or break them), the long battery life, USB-C charging and for the bass heavy sound profile.
These Dime 3 did not disappoint with punchy, thumpy, well-defined bass (especially in Bass Boost mode – like wow 🤩) and detailed mids and highs; Music with life.
They’re extremely light (2 x Dimes = 1 x AirPods Pro bud in weight) and they are very comfortable to wear.
They have excellent passive noise isolation and don’t leak any audio to those around you.
Build quality is great; No worse than any other big brands. There are some mould lines from the manufacturing process that really should be better smoothed off/removed and I wish the little orange D-ring on the “lanyard” was made of metal instead of plastic, but for the price the quality truly is excellent.
Controls are…..sufficient, but if I had to choose, I wish I could skip tracks from the buds themselves instead of having volume control.
Personally, I usually set volume and leave it. It’s tracks that I change all the time, depending on my mood.
Stay Aware mode works pretty well and I’ll definitely get more use out of it than ANC. Though the passive noise isolation is so good you’ll forget they don’t have ANC.
They chose tile as a partner for tracking, which doesn’t have the most robust network, but it’s an extra feature I don’t really need or care about.
There is a flaw in their implementation of the tracking feature. They only put tracking in the buds and not the case. 🤦♂️
This means that you can lose the case and anything attached to them (keys?) with no ability to track them.
Imagine you’re on a walk using your Dimes listening to a good bop, but you accidentally drop your keys attached to the D-ring of the case. The passive noise isolation is so good you didn’t hear the keys and case hit the pavement. You are out of luck.
This seems like a fairly obvious flaw in the design for the tracking feature. Maybe they will fix it in the Dime 4 with case tracking.
Also, the voice Skullcandy chose is..strange…the accent isn’t common so it sounds weird. I don’t care for it.
Anyway, it is hard to believe you get this level of quality in such a small form factor with this many features for just under $40 MSRP.
The improvements (sound, battery, extra features) over the Dime and Dime 2 are substantial and for the price, you really can’t go wrong with the Dime 3.
Important Fulfillment Note:
It appears that Amazon isn’t actually warehousing this product and instead submits an order direct to the manufacturer.
So if you want to order these you’re gonna wait for a while before you get them.
One star deduction for fulfillment retardation, and one star deduction for shipment retardation on these 5 star earbuds.

Clear sound and comfortable

I was surprised at the sound quality for the price. I love the Tile feature as I often misplace them
