It does not have a beautiful 4K like screen or a nice metal case like my Dell XPS computers… But it is cheaper and faster with a much better keyboard to type on.
This has the best keyboard compared to all of my other current computers. It just feels smooth. My second best is my 2019 MacBook Pro 16, which is slightly better than my newer XPSs.
I put a 16 GB Memory card to put it at 32 GB RAM and switched out the hard drive with a 2 TB NVMe.
The screen is only 1080P, but it is a touchscreen and kind of a Matte screen.
The computer is very fast and actually light and quiet.
The one really big surprise was that it has 2 USB-C ports. These >>BOTH<< can be used for charging and/or to drive an external USB-C Monitor. My 2018, 2019, and 2020 Dell XPS 13s have issues and are very picky with external USB-C Monitors. This T14 just works.
Btw.. PORTS… Lots of PORTS. 2 – USB-Cs, 2 – USB-As, HDMI, MicroSD, Network/Ethernet, and Headphones/Mic combo jack. You can still use a USB-C dongle if you really need a special port… But it has enough of the popular ports to eliminate the need for them.
One of the USB-C ports can be used for a special Lenovo docking station… I don’t know enough about that option.
It also supports Windows Hello with Face Recognition (WebCam with IR) and/or a Fingerprint Reader.
I am very happy with this laptop. After being an Amazon customer since 1997, this might be my first Amazon.Com product review.
