Update: Got a call from Thompson service center that If I rate this washing machine 4 or 5 stars then I will get an additional 6 months of warranty on the machine which I obviously declined. The reviews are being bought these days, really don’t trust the good reviews for any product on flipkart. \n\n\nProduct is good but consider the capacity as 6.5 or 7 kg max. Its drum size is soo small that you won’t be able to add more than 5-6 pieces of cloths. Other than that machine is just fantastic, have been using for a week now so no comment on the longevity of the product.\n\nBut it takes 2 hours and 35 mins for one cycle of you set the wash temperature to 90 degree. But the cloths comes our really fresh and fluffy. Overall a good buy just that company should be selling this as a 6.5kg washing machine.

After using 8 months the quality of the washing cloths are very normal…it is not suitable for homes.not worth of money…go for some other good brands which are available in the market.unsatisfied with Thomson washing machine..

I purchased a Thomson 10.5 kg Front Loading Q 10 Ultra series and received a promt delivery ad installation experience. f. I’m writing this review after I tried out the new machine for around a week having tested its limits.\n\n(1) It’s a 12 program, 5 star rated machine, it’s not only fair on the electricity consumption( since i checked the current meter reaings while usong this lovely machine) but even tops in the look and feel aspect. It had a very sleek appearance from any angle.\n\n(2) I feels it’s really worth every penny as it’s got all the required latest features anyone could even possibly think of. \n\n(3) It’s silent operation sometimes just makes me think if its even running and i need to touch it to feel thats somethings spinning inside.\n\n(4) Although, it has pre-programmed settings, you can still change the speed, time and temperature to suite individual needs.\n\n (5) Very simple to operate and easy to use. has an express wash system which is so convenient.\n\n(6) You can pause the machine and add more clothes in. This is available in premium machines only. But this Thomson Q 10 is offering this facility at a rock bottom price.\n\n(7) It’s dryer is really good, just 20% damp. Really squeezes out the water from the clothes. You can change the RPM and time for the dryer. That’s really very good option many machines don’t have.\n\n(8) It’s got a big door opening. So without much obstruction we can load and unload clothes.\n\n(9) It’s got the latest features in washing operation. You can load Prewash, Wash And softener. Many too models don’t offer this. \n\n(9) It’s got beautiful stainless steel tub and see through door, to observe the clothes being washed and dried.\n\n(10) Very less water consumption. It automatically takes only required amount of water according to the Lord of clothes. This is a very good feature only in premium machines.\n\nAt first I wanted to go for a top load washing machine, But my Eldest son told me that i should get front load washing machine and he suggester another brand in the same price bracket but was for 7 kg. Now he wants to purchase this same model because its more economical and has a better build quality. Ther service/Installation techinitians are very polite and professional. Covid -19 related Protocols follwed perfectly and i felt it was a really safe installation.\n\nMy advice, don’t search for any further machines if you come across this Thomson Q 10 Ultra series. This is the best in the market, available at a very very reasonable price and it’s worth more than what you are paying. It’s really a great deal, in terms of quality and service. The machine ia good in all aspects except 2.\n1. Its noisy to the point that if its running about a metre away from you and you are sitting there, you will get a mild headache.\n2. The drum size is like cut in half from behind. If you have seen a traditional front load washing machime of 8.5KGs, this one has a small drum almost like cut in half in depth of the drum. At best you may fit 6-7 full size clothes like Jeans and shirts mixed. It may have a load carrying capacity of 8.5 KGs but the drum can fit only 4-4.5 KGs at best when talking about volume.\n\nHowever, it washes clothes very clean. Takes less liquid detergent. Hot water wash works good. It works upto 90 degrees (only in cotton mode). Mix mode: 60 degrees. Wool mode: 40 degrees and there is 20 degree option as well.
