Edit: I have received calls from Thomson asking to give a 5 star rating for 3 months extended warranty. So most reviews could be bought ones. I have tried to be as honest as possible. Please use your discretion.\n\n1. Delivery was on time\n\n2. Picture quality is quite satisfactory. If you are playing any sports matches from YouTube, even HD matches, the experience is not that great. If you are planning to watch any movies / content from Netflix or Prime, it shouldn’t be a problem. TV hangs once in a while.\n\n3. Sound – isn’t that great. You can hear subtle static. In some videos the rustling noise is more prominent. Having said that, it’s decent enough. If your seating arrangement is 6 – 9 feet, you can hear audio comfortably\n\n4. Connectivity wise no issues. I had streamed couple of UHD videos from YouTube, (I have a 40 Mbps connection) they played seamlessly. Quality was nice\n\n5. Aesthetically it looks good. Gives a nice feeling. Received a wall mount along with TV\n\n6. Remote – Ok quality. Voice search doesn’t work seamlessly. I hope they will improve their search techniques with newer versions.\n\n7. Their support is available only on Working days and till 6:30 PM only. So, if you are someone who is particular about post sale service and Sound carefully consider your buying decision. Otherwise it’s a nice TV

I am using 5 months on this Thompson tv. This is excellent colour quality panel and support all formats of 4k videos but some times logging so once switch off your TV and then on. I recommend to improve picture settings options and sound quality options in default mode. so only using user mode on picture settings. This tv best value for affordable money. I want improve some minor bugs that’s all.

Pros:\n4k tv at lowest price, its ok for the price\ncons:\n1. Sound is not up to the mark, slight noise and not very clear, volume at 100 not meeting 20w\n2. picture quality is like blur, we can notice shadows for 1080p videos, upscaling for lower definition not great. not suitable for 4k videos. its actually 30hz for 4k which is weird.\n3. picture and sound modes doesn’t make difference.\n4. there are no vivid picture viewing experience\n5. we can’t customize picture and sound options while watching content from smart tv mode\n6. the smart applications availability from app store is limited. not possible to install sun nxt yupp tv etc

Wrost experience ever. This TV got delivered in time by Flipkart however when the installation guy came to do the installation we found there is an issue. The installation guy told me that this a problem with the TV and I should reach Thomson. When I reached their toll free number, it never gets past of the IVR and to a customer support guy. I called Flipkart and they gave me one more number which I cannot mention as per Flipkart review policy. As it turned out, this is a customer care number for some hospital. Right now I am hanging in nowhere after spending 23k with a defective product. I have got two questions. First one is when I am buying something from Flipkart, is this the kind of after sales service you guys are providing? Secondly how come a MNC like Thomson have launched products in India without any after sales servicing, which era are we living in. If anyone is looking to buy this TV in these big sales and everything, I would suggest you to save money for a while more and buy a product from a big brand like Samsung, LG or Sony. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A PRODUCT WHERE IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG, YOU HAVR NO AFTER SALES SERVICE.

Summary – Great Value for Money. Definitely one of the best TV in this range.\nThis review is only based on my initial observations (3 days of Experience!)\n\n* Picture quality is awesome. \n* Speaker volume is audible. No need of external speakers. Though it depends on personal choice.\n* Apps are working fine. Played videos on Youtube, Hotstar etc without any trouble.\n* Network Connectivity is also great. Used wired network, didn’t feel any lag. \n* USB port is also working fine.\n* Remote is not highly responsive beyond 12 feet.\n\n* Excellent Delivery by Flipkart\n* Got Installation request call on the same day of delivery!!.

This is a very good budget 4k TV. based on my initial observations I want to put some points.\n* Sound will not work for Tatasky HD channels if you put sound setting as Dolby digital in TATA sky. Change it to PCM then works flawlessly. It looks like TV does not support Dolby or dts sound in HDMI.\n* Picture quality is very good. Pls don’t compare it with OLED TVs. If your video quality is good then it looks good. Viewing angle is good, quality will not degrade if you see it at an angle. Contrast level is good. But SD channels upscale sometime saturates the image. Plan to use HD channels.\n* Sound quality is average. Just like any other LED TV. Use external speaker your problem will be solved.\n* Android is old 5.1, not sure when apps will stop working. but that’s fine considering I want it to use with DTH. But youtube works fine for now.\n* Remote buttons are not smooth and responsive. \noverall best budget 4k TV. Good one.

picture quality quite mediocre. even HD doesn’t look that ‘rich’. HD videos over internet look fine. remote control is a bit sloppy. wonder why they named it ‘Ultra HD’, if at all, it is not really true HD when it comes to picture quality\n\nThese guys call you and trade 4/5 rating in lieu of free extended warranty. DO NOT BUY this TV. don’t be fooled by the ratings. go to youtube and check unboxing videos, reviews from multiple tech YouTubers. you money will go down the drain. picture quality is horrible. \n\nmy TV is only a month old and if anyone is willing to buy this for 20K, let me know.

Bought this tv in sale and pretty pleased with the performance.\nThe remote stopped working after a week and i raised a complaint. It has been 3 weeks now and no one appeared for assistance. The customer care and service seems to be very poor. Initially they told that service would be delayed due to diwali and now when I called them they are telling me that the request is closed and raise a new one. \n\nI would recommend to go with some other brand like Sony/Samsung/Vu if money is not an issue… you pay high but get good service…. not a month of torture.
