Thomson 1.5 ton AC detailed review\n\nBefore buying I saw some great reviews and thought Thomson being a reputed company might start big bang on AC’s. As I am using lloyd 1 ton 3 star AC, comparing with the same now. I have room size around 140 sqft, wanted to go for 1 ton 5 star AC, but didn’t get the same in market, hence thought of going for this product as it was 1.5 ton with 5 star and within 1 ton AC budget of Lloyd or any other competitors.\n\nThis review is based on my product, might vary in your case hence check other reviews too. My initial review was bit lower, after monitoring nd testing continuously for 2 days, I modified some of the observations. \n\nLet me start review from features:\n\nPro’s:\n\nDesign is ok both in indoor and outdoor, no fancy stuff. Outdoor unit is slightly bigger but no issues.\nWas able to test room temperature, due to its swing issue, cooling is not even across corners. But was able to meet the set temperature at the airflow direction.\nConsumption of power in silent mode is quiet good. But aggressive in turbo mode.\n \nCons:\nIt has only 2 way Swing which is not that great as it will not throw air on floor instead opposite wall hence you need to literally operate manually and make it complete down, most basic feature not taken care here.\nRemote does not operate smoothly beyond 5ft range. Also temperature showed in remote is not accurate also not realtime. May be issues with remote.\nI- breez is still wonder how it works, no details provided anywhere in manual\nAC doesn’t pause and resume based on room cooling, it continuously runs which may result higher electricity bills.\nI felt Outdoor unit sound slightly more than the Lloyd, but sound cannot here inside the room. Even indoor unit makes sound little louder than my ceiling FAN in turbo settings.\nCooling speed is bit slow, first day set the temperature to 16 degree and ran AC for close to 6 hours, but room temperature couldn’t reduce below 23 degree, outside normal temperature was around 32 degree. Secondary day ran for 1.5 hours and I could see room temperature dropping close to 21 degree, outside normal temperature was around 29 degree due to clouds. 3rd day I was able to meet the set temperature after 1 hour but only at the air flow direction.\n\nService:\n\nI read most of the review people just spoke about quality and never bothers to put some extra details. Yes, Jeeves installation is not that great, Flipkart authorized to Jeeves, and Jeeves further outsources this to Krishna enterprises, hence they issue installation related bills in some invalid cash memo without GST number in Krishna Enterprises name. The Id card carried by installation guys does not sound valid too other than using flipkart assigned installation number.\n\nService from guys not that great, try to convince as they knows everything, no professionalism, you just need to listen what they say. No proper Demo is given not tested room temperature. They will just test cooling in grill, that even my car AC gives 10 to 12 degree but doesn’t mean it will cool the room.\n\nCovid protocols absolutely not followed, they even came inside house without mask.\n\nThey also charge for some items which are covered in installation process and bill 2 times more than actual price. Ex pipe biding tape, they used 1 mtr but billed for 3 mtrs. In addition to that they will charge for wall mount stand, drain pipe (drain pipe should be rs. 100 per mtr as per guidelines, where they charge Rs 450 for a single piece even though you need less than 1 mtr, i told i will buy myself), 3pin plug, all together it comes close to 1750 other than installation cost i.e 1600 that you pay while buying AC and if you buy them directly from flipkart/amazon, this cost can be reduced to approx. 1k, do buy these items yourself next time along with AC.\n\n \n\nOnce they finish the installation, they will not issue any manual sign off documents that will help to capture few observations , instead everything is on mobile, they also force you to share OTP mentioning that without OTP installation will not be completed and you will not get any warranty. I saw a message from Flipkart where its mentioned to share OTP only if you are happy, hence didn’t share the OTP, but still got confirmation from Flipkart on completed installation, hence request everyone not to share OTP unless you are happy with all aspects from them.\n\nPlease don’t rate for the sake of extended warranty over cal, it’s unethical practice,, be genuine to other buyers

Very bad product 1st day show in indoor unit F3 arrer and out door unit very high loud

I liked that this AC makes very little noise. Has a very calm nature. I would recommend to all ac buying people that buy only thomson ac works very well coolness is very good and no noise at all. writing this idea after my use for almost 10 days

Installation process took a bit time.\nAC is working fine and good cooling and good support from Flipkart and company.
