I bought this product after much hesitation that whether this will work for Airtel 4G. Many of the buyers reviewed that this doesn’t work ! Still I thought I will go for this, as the Airtel own product is out of stock for over a year now.\n\nTell you what – as soon as I received the product, I immediately plugged in my Airtel 4G Modem (Model: ZTE MF880T). I saw the modem blinked green – and I am connected to the internet on wifi in less than 60 sec. The speed is same as I would have got if the modem was connected directly to my LAPTOP via USB.\n\nThe router’s range is pretty decent, I am getting signal in all my rooms. \n\nSo, if you are looking for a 4G Wifi Router, you can go for this, although I don’t know for other 4G modems.\n\nAnd flipkart’s service is superb. Got this product delivered 2 days before on a Sunday.

I ordered this product 29 days back. I thought I should share feedback for other buyers. After a bit of research I bought this Router, because this is the best suited for my requirement, which should be almost the same for every one.\n1) use all(atleast most of them) 3G/4G data card without any problem. And the firm ware should be updated often to keep adding new 3G dongle hardware.\n – I checked among other products, DLINK etc., compared with the 3G dongle that it supports with others. TLink supports almost everything and every network. Dlink supports only the 3G dongle of its make. Others again the same and its very costly.\n – I use tata photon + and its working like magic. Installation, just plug go to 3G section select the network save and connect thats it. And thats for one time.\n – when I bought this product, I could see there is a firmware to update with latest 3g/4g dongles. I am hoping they will keep updating going forward too. You can check the dongles supported in their website.\n\n2) I wanted to connect to regular modem(any) for internet connection. Note: This doesn’t have ADSL modem. Again that was my requirement as I want to keep modem out of router, because the router technology will keep varying, initially it was ADSL now its ADSL2.0. In future will get internet connection thru cable like tata sky etc., \n\n3) I wanted 300 mbps speed, because i might play HD movies from my laptop to my TV thru wireless, but for ppl with less speed you can use TP-LINK TL-MR3220.\n\n4) No dropping of connections.\n – This i could check after delivery. For both 3g only option and also WAN only option there are no drops in connections. I cannot check with the option of 3g preferred over Wan and WAN preferred over 3G, because I use tikona broadband, and for which the authentication happens over browser. So this will not work.\n\n5) less heat.\nabsolutely very less heat over the box. May be because of the new design.\n\n6) wall mountable. – yes wall mountable.\nFlipkart delivered in 6 days, unlike the other products in 2 days, but that was clearly mention before ordering and also after ordering the product.\nSo regrets on that one too, as it was on time. But now are are getting in 2-3 days.\n\nupdate on 12 march 2013:::\nNOTE: AFTER almost 3+ mths of continuous use, i am not finding even a sngle problem.\nNOTE BUY 3G/4G router not 3G/3.7G ROUTER. Flipkart keeps changing the boxex, because both have same product code. 3G/4G is the latest model.\n\nupdate on 24 Jan 2014:::\nStill going good, Now my usage goes 24hrs a day, hardly I switch off, sometimes it goes for weeks without switching off. Still I use broadband as tikona, and very few times i use photon plus.

Hi,\nI purchased this item 1 month back on flipkart. As usual delivery was prompt.\nSetup of this router is very easy.\nAfter completion of setup I just connected my Vodafone 3G dongle and ….started using wifi in my home……Its perfectly covering my 2 BHK home (1100 sq feet area). The only thing I have fixed it in the middle of home to cover both side…And speed is superb…I am getting speed untill 4 MB even on Wifi.. \nTwo month back I was about to buy this product at 3200 Rs….but I was luck i did not buy taht time and now it can be grab in just 1870rs. :)\nFor home use…this is the perfect one… \n\nUpdate after 3 months — I feel the wi-fi connections are getting dropped in some areas of home… The blind spots at my home where initially i was getting wi-fi range very good now a days I am not getting the same range with this router. I dont know how it will work in another next 2 to 3 months….will keep you posting about the updates…\n\nThanks

This can be used for cable internet connections as well for use along with 3g and 4g donglers.\nThis works well as promised and so far no issues with the product.\nUsing it since a month and totally satisfied with the performance of the product.

In the beginning, I was looking for a way to share the internet from a USB Dongle (which i used for my laptop..) with my new android phone.\n\nI tried ICS and various other ‘hotspot’ softwares to let my laptop share the internet connection with my phone through WiFi, but it all failed because the Wireless Device in my laptop didn’t have that functionality (probably).\n\nSo, this was the need which led me to go search for a usb dongle supporting router. I was still hesitant because I knew that my dongle does not run Internet on 3g but 2g and the products I found on the internet (including TL-MR3420) had 3G/4G written on them.\nBut TL-MR3420 is working fine with my Photon+ 2G Connection.\n\nNow about the product:\nIt is an excellent product. I’ve had no issues with it at all. I did not find any flaw.\nTP-Link is good because its website shows you the supported dongle types. So you can confirm if your dongle will work or not.\n\nIt also has a WAN Port where you can attach your ADSL or Cable modem. And 4 LAN slots to attach PCs through LAN Cables.\n\nI have another product TL-MR3220. I needed to buy it for my computer training centre.\nI tried to experiment a little, and connected my Photon Dongle to my TL-MR3220 and fixed a LAN Cable to one of its LAN Slots(output) and the other end to TL-MR3420’s WAN Slot(input).\nI changed the setting in TL-MR3420 to \

After lot of research and reading reviews by others I took a chance. Guess what …Hurrey !! its working excelent with Airtel 4G Huawai E3272 (Latest 4G dongle from Airtel). \n\nI had Tata photon+ and after taking a demo at home and verifying compatibility in front of my eyes, I bought Airtel 4G Huawai E3272 today. Supports both the dongles. \n\nMentioning few points here, it may help you:\n\n1. Wifi range is good. Perfect for 3BHK flat. Getting good signal at 1st floor.\n2. Just been 3 days I am using it, haven’t faced much speed drop or any connection drop.\n3. Easy to set up, just follow the guide properly.\n4. Once I set up it with Tata photon dongle, it auto detected the other one.\n\nFolks no worries ! Go and get this router, it will definitely work. Good buy according to me. Flipkart delivery is excellent as usual.

The router through which I was distributing internet from a BSNL Micromax 300C EVDO modem in my house started failing intermittently. I ordered the TL-MR3420 from Flipkart to replace it which was delivered promptly and it worked like a charm after updating the firmware, plugging in the modem and entering it’s login parameters. In fact, internet speed has increased compared to my previous router. Highly recommended.

Received the router in good condition. The router identified my BSNL modem (Micromax MMX300C) easily and setup was a breeze. The wireless range is good (covers my 1,500 sq ft area easily). When placed at one end of my home, easily get 20 – 30% signal strength at the other end (2 rooms in between) on my laptop and 10 – 15 % signal strength on my mobile. A good product at a decent price.
