Voltas AC is standard in Quality. This model is very good in terms of cooling, room capacity etc
Only drawback is remote does not come with backlight and it makes hard to use it at night

It could be that the purchase was made at the onset of the summer season. The unit works satisfactorily – the advts for instant cooling and sheer jumping for joy subsequently are a bit misplaced . So leave that expectation out.
Installation – poor experience – required a ton of follow ups and Amazon was not helpful here at all. Please marshal your patience and then go for figuring out installation. Once they reached the place – the technicians did a good job of installing it.
The remote stopped working a few weeks later and was replaced promptly.
Update (June 2023) after almost 4 months usage in Chennai weather – working well / continues to cool the room effectively. So far so good. Happy with the purchase (fingers crossed)

Although the cooling is satisfactory, the indoor unit has been making unbearable noise like and engine would.
Initially I thought the noise would decrease but it is only getting worse and my complaint was also canceled by Voltas customer care within half a day of raising it.
We have several AC brands including another voltas but never experienced this amount of noise. I hope the company will rectify the issue within service period.
