Bought 1.5 Voltas adjustable inverter split AC in 2021. It cost me 31k. AC performance wise is OK. I set it mostly between 24-26 degrees. The issue is with the customer service. My experience with installation and yearly service was horrible. The technicians are not at all professional and ill-mannered. I would recommend to go for some other brands if you want good after sales service

Though this size (1.4 ton) is a bit strange, it is as good as an 1.5 ton AC. Looks are a bit con to this model. However, the effectiveness of the AC is good so far. The following are my observations:
1. There is an LED light in the middle of the front side for indicating the temperature. This is not generally visible in the product images. Temperature setting can range from 16 to 30 degrees, as is the case with most of the ACs.
2. I could see only a nominal rise due to this in power bill. So far there was only some 400 Rs. rise per month after its arrival, though it is used for around 10 hours a day. The savings may be due to the inverter component of this AC.
3. The indoor unit has 3 levels of fan speed: low, medium and high. The ‘high’ speed setting is a little bit noisy compared to other two. However, it doesn’t matter much.
4. The vertical swing doesn’t cover all the possible angles. Covers only 50% of the possibility. This is a poor design.
5. Installation: The installation was the worst part. Though it is mentioned that standard AC installation cost is Rs. 1500 in Amazon, it was Rs. 2000+ 18% GST+Tips for the installation guys= Rs. 2500. They said Rs. 2000 instead of 1500 was because of the inverter model. The Voltas guys were not responsive to the Amazon’s automatic request for the installation after the products gets delivered. I had to follow up the Voltas customer care repeatedly. By the way, the local vendors of AC provide a free and hassle-free installation.
6. Remote is a bit disappointment. They gave a very large and bulky remote. But it works okay.

Pdt is good .. but I would suggest to refrain buying this because if the worst after sales service. Till now I have only received calls for booking of free AC service. No body turns up and I receive a message from Voltas saying your service is done please provide feedback. This has happened with me twice. I am very hopeful it’s going to happen for the third time as well. Pretty sure they will do paid service very promptly.

Voltas is a market leader in domestic ACs in India and of course it is well known for electronic goods.
I’ve purchased this product to use in my bedroom of size 160 Sq.Ft. The thing is that, I can run this AC on 1 Ton & on 1.4 Ton, as per requirement. Auto adjust mode is so easy that can control loading of AC as per room condition & people around it.
I’m pretty much happy for my purchase!
This is our second Voltas AC purchase in my family. So, we have good experience & trust in this brand of TATA.

Reviewing after using this AC for almost 45 days. Installed it in an approx 200 sq ft room and works pretty well. It cools the room in less than an hour from an avg temperature of 30 degrees to 24 degrees everyday. The energy saver mode is quite good and would recommend anyone buying this model or similar one to use it as the default temperature setting. It is sufficient on most occasions. There was an increase of at least 100 units in power consumption which translated to about Rs 1500- Rs 2000 increase in the electricity bill with nearly 7-8 hours of daily usage.
Some pros:
1. Works as advertised, nothing less and nothing more.
2. Cools room in a short period of time.
3. Installation was smooth, with good technicians. Overall installation bill was about Rs 2200.
4. Doesn’t make much noise.
5. Is a cost efficient 3 star AC.
Cons:
Only con I could think of is outside unit is slightly noisier. It has worked fine and fulfilled expectations for the first 45 days.

It has been four years since I have been using this air conditioner and there is no problem faced so far. It cools my room very well. The installation at the time was also satisfactory. Overall, happy with the product.

If I have to describe it in one sentence I would say “Go for it”.
Amazon delivery was superb. The installation was smooth (though it was in remote location yet they made it properly)
AC works really well and quite. You’ll just hear the breeze sound. Can’t comment on after sale service as it’s just been 20 days installing this AC but hope Voltas will not disappoint.
For installation I paid ₹999 + GST PLUS ₹370/feet for extra Copper pipe and its rubber insulation. (It may vary place to place)
One thing I didn’t like is, the installation partner was cheating which I caught before it was done. They were giving 3rd class (non branded) wire and charging ₹60/ Gaj for 3 core 2.5 MM wire however, the wire was not even proper 1.5 MM. It was just having more thick PVC cover. So I denied to use that wire and purchased my own (branded one).
Since the AC has inbuilt stabilizer, I didn’t purchase a separate one (you can get if you wish).
For MCB, you can use 2 pole (3 pole in case you have earthing) 32 AMP.
