Everything is good but as a VA panel you will not get good viewing angle.

Very good picture quality, also good sound quality 👌

T.V. is good. However, technician didn’t turn up for installation. I request Amazon to take care of it.

PICTURE
Excellent Panel Quality. The VU GLOLED 50 INCH Panel Quality is extremely good . The display is extremely bright panel for a 50 inch 4K TV and it has one of the best brightness levels in its category. The Colour Science of the Panel is slightly tuned towards the LG colour science . The panel support Dolby Vision / HDR10 / HDR10+ as well as HLG video formats and watching the content on OTT apps is amazing. The default colour setting was little oversaturated to my liking but VU Gloled gives ample setting to tweak and adjust the same. The TV comes with features like MEMC ( Motion Enhancement ) by default and the settings can be tweaked separately for each source ( HD Content / Dolby Vision Content / HDR10 / HDR10+ ) . The panel is manufactured by OEM Hisense and the quality is on par with the A6H/A7H. It is one of the best budget panels in the market. The viewing angels are also good unless you want to watch the TV from the extreme ends which will result in some color differences which makes me believe the Panel is a high quality VA panel

SPEAKERS :
The VU Gloled has a good sound quality when compared to the general sound quality . The best part is the sub woofer is inbuilt with bottom firing speakers. If we do not go by the 104W expectation the speakers do a decent job and its better than what the normal tv in the price range offers. If you do not want to invest or interested in a soundbar and you want a TV with good sound quality this TV is the best suited for you . Also the sub woofer can be turned off in the settings if you are not interested . Also there are ample of settings for the sound tweaking as well and you can tweak it to your preference. Also Dolby ATMOS support works well with the TV

Installation :

The Wall Mounts and stand are provided in the box. The assembly was done by Amazon at the time of delivery itself so I did not have any issues . The packaging and installation done by the Amazon team was good without issues

Accessories:

The TV comes with all the ports required as well as the Remote . The remoteless far field mic works well . The Remote has ample buttons with dedicated hot keys for all the favourite OTT apps as well. The find my remote functionality enables you to find the remote if it is lost which is a really useful feature.

OS / Hardware

The processor as shown in AIDA64 is m7632 . Processor is Mediatek MT9612 . It is 4 cores Cortex A55 @ 1500 MHz & GPU is Mali G52 GPU .The processor is one of the better processors for TV and comes with support for latest video codes like AV1. Mother Board codename is his9612 . RAM is 1790 MB & Storage is 16GB out of which around half is already consumed by Google TV. Most of preinstalled OTT apps can be uninstalled except some like Youtube. Google TV takes around 35 to 40 seconds to boot up and the OS is better than the Android TV OS . The Google TV mobile app makes controlling the TV and typing ridiculously easy and the Voice search is now across all the apps / system wide . Google Apps can be installed and you can also install 3rd party apps. Google OS is basically better version of old Android TV Version.

After Sales Service / Extended Warranty

VU offers additional 2 years comprehensive warranty from their website. If looking for a long term purchase I would highly recommend getting the official extended warranty from their website. The customer care team was really helpful while extending the warranty and the timelines were followed. You can check the warranty online on their website.

Area for Improvement : No updates apart from the Google OS bi-monthly new feature rollouts. The VU team must also look to provide updates to the GLOLED lineup .

Cons : With bluetooth headphones connected, the sound is comparatively lower . Seems to a common issue across units and it must be a software bug which could be fixed if VU provides an update.

Overall Conclusion : If you are looking for a 4K 50 inch TV with good Panel quality , good sound quality and better customer support than some other competitors in a budget this is a must buy TV for you . This is definitely one of the best TV in its price segment and you cannot go wrong with it .
