I wanted a buy an electric kettle to gift to my mom. I was searching on Amazon and came across this Wipro Vesta electric kettle which was on discount.
Since it is stainless steel I thought of buying it and just loved it.
Kettle has capacity of 1.8 Ltr, has quick boiling capacity and keep warm function too. MOM loved this feature which is unique and helps in keeping the beverage warm..
The handle is also very good, stays cool, gives good grip and is comfortable to hold.
The swivel base allows to easily carry the kettle around.
Also liked the dry boil protection which ensures that without water the kettle will not work.
I also liked that this is easy to clean and has elegant design.
The cord length is just perfect to reach the electric socket.

Cons
1. Cord is very short.
2. To keep warm one needs to press two switches viz. Warm switch and ON switch apart from the power switch.
Pros
1. Overall function is good.
2. The blue led lights looks good.
3. The transparent body is an advantage, one need not weigh the boiler to check the quantity of water.

The kettle is very useful to instantly warm or maje boiling water,saves time and energy both. They have a small cord so that makes it look neat and less messy. The kettle’s automatic switch off after heating is just fabulous,you don’t have to keep checking to switch off.We can separate the heating vessel and plate below ,so its easy to clean

Problems :
You can feel the hot outer cover once the water starts boiling .
No markings of function buttons in the manual or on the kettle .
Wire length is almost one meter , which may seem short .

It looks beautiful in my kitchen, also works fine, it just takes a bit longer to shut off heating even after the water starts boiling. Also the metal base plate has decolourised after two months of daily use, the stain is not coming off after scrubbing. Otherwise working fine. After 3 months of usage, it has stopped working altogether.
