This kettle is a amazing. I have been using different kettle for a long time and preferred imported brands. I zeroed on this kettle after very extensive research as a good Indian made product. I am using this Wonderchef Luxe Kettle now about 5 months of daily usage (boiling Metro water 4-5 times daily). Its working flawless. I would recommend this product/
Pros:
1. Very good looks I got the Red it looks awesome
2. Its fully Automatic i.e. It switches off automatically on boiling.
3. Its inner is Stainless Steel hence its does not get rusted
4. Very good volume of 1.7-Liters
5. Completely Electric Kettle and fast boiling because its 1800 Watts power
6. Small details are also kept in mind during product designing like
a. The bottom is slightly raised with notches so that there is less chance of shock
b. Its double layered hence the outside does not get too hot for touch
c. The top opening is large and comfortable. very useful to pour water in and to clean the insides.
d. The red indicator is built in the handle itself and does not move.
e. The handle is large and well spaced so it does not get hot to handle.
Cons:
1. The base could be a little bigger and heavy so that stays in one place. but its compact for use
2. Could have provided and outside indicator for water level.
Overall completely satisfied an would recommend this Kettle

Product is well designed for boiling 1.5 litre plus water at a time. Handle is strong and easy to hold with such large quantity of water. It did make noise in the first few days as other reviews have said but for me it went away on its own after a week. I don’t know how. Design is great like other Wonderchef products. I will not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants 1.5 liter at time to be boiled. BTW, 1.5 liter is quite a lot at a time but since I normally drink warm water, it is great for me. Pot is quite tall and looks big so be prepared for it. Cleaning is much easier than any other pot that I bought so far since the mouth is of the same diameter as the rest of the pot.

The lid of this water kettle got extremely loose over time & the inner base developed brown marks over time. Strange. I was so unhappy with this purchase in the one year I used it for, I sold it off second hand & replaced it with a slightly more expensive kettle of another brand which I’m so happy with now. A couple of times when I wanted to pour hot water, the lid of the Wondershare electric kettle popped open & scalded my hand. I had to use 2 hands to pour myself a simple glass of hot water. An unnecessary complication in an already complicated year (2020 & Covid). The shutting mechanism seems to have a design issue but otherwise the water would heat up rapidly & without fuss. You could be happier with a cheaper option than this or a slightly more premium looking kettle by another reputed brand like Black & Decker or Haden if you’re really looking to make a long term investment.
