Amber –
After using the Xiaomi Pad 6 for around a month, I can confidently say that it offers an impressive set of features that make it a worthwhile investment, especially considering its affordable price point.
Starting with the design, the Xiaomi Pad 6 boasts a sleek and premium build. The combination of a glass front (protected by Gorilla Glass 3), an aluminum frame, and an aluminum back gives it a sturdy yet elegant feel. The tablet’s dimensions of 254 x 165.2 x 6.5 mm make it thin and lightweight, weighing just 490g. It’s comfortable to hold and carry around, making it ideal for extended periods of use.
The 11.0-inch IPS LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate is a treat for media consumption. The colors are vibrant, and the high refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling and fluid animations. The inclusion of HDR10 and Dolby Vision support enhances the visual experience even further. However, it would have been great to see an OLED panel instead of an IPS LCD, as it would have offered deeper blacks and richer contrast.
Running on Android 13 with MIUI 14, the Xiaomi Pad 6 provides a smooth and user-friendly interface. Powered by the Qualcomm SM8250-AC Snapdragon 870 5G chipset and an octa-core CPU, the tablet delivers reliable performance for day-to-day tasks and gaming. The Adreno 650 GPU ensures smooth graphics rendering, making it enjoyable to play demanding games like Real Flight Sim.
The storage capacity of 256GB and 8GB of RAM allow for ample space to store your files and run multiple apps simultaneously. The inclusion of UFS 3.1 ensures fast data transfer speeds, contributing to a seamless user experience.
While the camera setup on the Xiaomi Pad 6 is decent, it’s not the highlight of the device. The 13 MP main camera and 8 MP selfie camera produce satisfactory results, but they are not exceptional by any means. However, if you primarily use the tablet for media consumption and productivity, the camera performance might not be a significant concern.
One of the standout features of the Xiaomi Pad 6 is its audio quality. The loudspeaker setup with stereo speakers provides a rich and immersive audio experience. With support for 24-bit/192kHz audio, the tablet delivers high-quality sound for music, movies, and gaming.
The battery life of the Xiaomi Pad 6 is commendable, thanks to its 8840 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. It easily lasts through a day of moderate to heavy usage, and the 33W wired charging ensures quick recharging times.
Netflix and Prime Video streaming enthusiasts will appreciate the ability to watch content at up to 1080p HDR. The tablet delivers a visually pleasing experience, bringing out the best in HDR content.
However, there are a few downsides worth mentioning. The lack of NFC, radio, and cellular/sim capabilities might be disappointing for some users who rely on these features. Additionally, the strange bug causing YouTube to crash when playing 2160p 60fps videos is an inconvenience that needs addressing.
In conclusion, the Xiaomi Pad 6 offers a remarkable set of features at an affordable price. Its sleek design, impressive display, good audio quality, and smooth performance make it an excellent choice for media consumption and productivity tasks. While it has its limitations, such as the camera performance and the absence of certain features, the overall value it provides outweighs these drawbacks. I highly recommend the Xiaomi Pad 6, especially for those looking for a budget-friendly tablet with great media capabilities.

This is my first ever tab and I loved it.
I wanted it mostly for my studies and it is fulfilling all my needs. As some website only provide content on apps nowadays, so it was hard for me to study from mobile screen as it was too small and laptop was too big and heavy.
So, this tab is a perfect solution to my problems.
I can read newspaper and all the PDFs clearly as the screen is big and tab is light. Can hold it while lying in bed. So comfortable.
Also video quality is good if you watch videos above or equal to 2K. 1080p does not look so good as the resolution of screen is of 2.8K and it’s a LCD panel.
Audio is great and loud. Battery life is also pretty decent. Charging time is not excellent but good.
Games run smooth but not comfortable for shooting games as screen is huge. Software experience is also great but would have been better if they added more settings for home screen page. There are many functions like split screen and floating apps and dock is also very helpful. Software is clean and I think it will receive Android 14 and 15 and 3 years of security updates because Tab 5 came with Android 11 and had received 12 and 13.
There are some pre installed apps like Netflix, most of them can be uninstalled. Camera is also decent for a tab. I took some pictures and they were nice, although I never care about cameras of any device.
But the only thing I don’t like is costly accessories. I wanted to buy the pen and keyboard but they are so so overpriced. I guess. Pen should be included in the box itself.
Overall, the tab is great and very productive.!

Its really very nice and slim but there is only one problem that brand claims of battery life more than 9 hours but for me it only last for 4 hours even with normal day to day task

Great display and great dolby atmos.Only one regret that Netflix only supports SD. Mi should give an update to support at least FHD in Netflix.

1. Display (6/10) – There is severe black crush issue. The greys in the darker scenes have zero detail retention. Bad experience on HDR front. But good for everything else. Enjoy YouTube or your local media in the highest qualities.
2. Sound (7/10) – Disappointed as reviewers were saying it’s loud. It’s not loud for good experience even after saying quad (4) speakers.
3. Heating (7/10)- Yes it heats even on casual usages around the keyboard connector area. I guess the processor is placed there. Note that I don’t have the keyboard. It heats around there.
4. Performance (7/10) – It lags and crashes a lot switching between dual spaces. I had a random reboot too. Apps work fine but android tabs don’t have much app options.
5. Charging (8/10) – Everyone knows it’s 33 Watt so there is no cheating. It is what it is.
6. Camera (4/10) – Bad. Don’t even think about it. Just use for video calls and forget about it.
7. Software (7/10) – You didn’t pay for iPad so don’t expect and iPad level experience. They did what they could do with limited android tablet capabilities.
8. Updates (2/10) – 3 years of security patches and zero declared major updates. I tried to reach the social media and PR team but I guess they have been strictly asked to not engage with anyone asking about updates.
9. Wi-Fi reception (10/10) – Perfectly fine.
Overall it’s ok for media consumption but you can achieve the same experience on a Redmi Pad at 10k lesser price.
Final verdict – 6/10
