Let me start with cons, so that i can completely focus on Pros.
1. Little bit on heavier side.
2. Not for deadly bass lover. I will tell later on this. Please continue reading.
3. This headphone doesnt solve the purpose of having ANC. Poor ANC. I have Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro and the ANC is amazing in it.
4. Mobile application must have equalizer.

THATS IT !!! only these much issue from my perspective. And these are reason to cut a star.

Now come to Positives, for which I am completely blown away.

1. Build quality is superb. Yes it is a bit heavier but i can vouch on this. That this will last longer than other headphones in market. And i am completely satisfied with it. Due to mesh over the head and around the speaker, this looks premium and classy. Also while listening if your posture is straight then it will never create a problem, if you are lying with head down then it wont be perfect.

2. Coming to Bass – As i said earlier that this is not for bass lover. Dont get me wrong, usually headphones, woofer, hometheatre with this technology will never have such a punchier bass which we can get on lower segment of headphones.
But boy, the bass is perfect with the modes given to it. Believe me, the sound and the bass it throws to your ears are amazingly good. I never wanted a headphone to be that heavy bass, this is perfect to me. Yes, on some song i do miss it but 99% you wont even realise that bass is weak on this. The engineering is done next to perfect.

3. Audio quality – Perfect. At a time, you can hear and feel instrument like someone is playing far. You will feel every instrument in this headphone. It is that perfect. 10/10.

4. Features – All i can say is this is a RAW headphone which is built only for its performance. Feature are secondary for this headphone. You can play with the modes present in mobile app. I cannot describe much on this as there are many variations you can hear music. 3D With Head Tracking ON/OFF, Soumd Mode – Cinema, Drama, Music and Video, background Music, Concert, Outdoor, Listening Optimizer, etc.
I usually prefer this setting – 3D is ON, Sound Mode – Cinema/Music and Video, Head tracking – OFF(only to save battery). Else keep this on to feel magic around you.

5. Battery – Ahh! I am least concern as any gagdet will eventually needs an charging. So never thought in that sense. As it is proving atleast 30hrs of continous play with Head Tracking OFF. (Who in the world hear for continuous 30 hrs.)
While Head tracking is ON, yes battery life is very less, like you might need to charge every 3 days. Which is still ok to me. As i am music lover and not battery lover.

Yes, this is pricy but the engineering on the appeal and sound justify the price. Else if you are feature fanatic then opt for Sony, Bose, Sennhiesser.

My thoughts while purchasing a headphone was that i am going to spend 25k to 30k in it and this should be special to me.
And yes THIS IS SPECIAL TO ME.

Pros-
1. Great Sound quality i think the best sounding headphones I have listened to at this price point.
2. Unique features which work well ( esp 3d sound and headtracking), which is great for watching movies.
3. Good battery life.
4. Premium build quality and comfortable for long hours of listening.

Cons-
1. Too uncomfortable for small size heads which is a serious drawback.
2. Noise cancelling could have been better.
3. Should provide an equalizer on their app.
4 Would’ve been excellent if the head tracking feature works without the 3D sound turned ON.

Overall happy with the purchase esp with the sound quality.

Lets get something out of the way first, the noise cancellation is far behind NC700 and XM5.
Thats it, the only negative.
This Yamaha wipes the floor with both the NC700 and the XM5 in terms of audio. Even if the 3D sound feature wasnt offered, which most certainly is not a gimmick, this would be the right choice for someone who prioritises listening experience. Absolutely fantastic throughout the frequency range. The amazing build quality and materials used are just the icing on an amazing pair of heaphones. Simply a no-nonsense product that promises the world and delivers the universe in listening experience.

🟢 Qualité de fabrication exemplaire il est beau pas forcément dans ce qui représente mais dans la manière dont il a été fait, il est bien fait, le souci du détail il est là, qu’on aime ou on n’aime pas peu importe la flagrance du taf est réelle.

🟢 Qualité sonore très bien, rendu des graves sans appli c’est bien mais ce n’est pas non plus un truc de ouf, on va la faire comme un professeur genre : “la définition du spectre sonore laisse transparaître des aigus en retrait par rapport au graves bla bla bla bla bla et… bla bla bla bla”, achetez le vous-même et faites-vous au propre avis mais c’est un bon casque niveau sonore réellement.

🟢 Les coussinets sont agréables il reste fixe peu importe la position que vous la faites adopter donc il faut bien repositionner ceci, si vous les avez bougé manuellement entre-temps…(.)⬅️ Il y a un point en trop là 🤔?

🔴 Les commentaires des utilisateurs précédents sont honnêtes, je ne pensais pas que cela m’arriverait mais ça m’est arrivé, le casque est vraiment grand ça ne paraît pas comme ça mais il s’enlève il n’adhère pas à la tête du tout les coussinets oui mais il faut le serrer à Max et même à ce niveau-là il glisse le casque glisse au niveau de l’arceau.

Acquistate per farmi il regalo di natale con molta fiducia nei confronti del marchio ed attratto dai notevoli contenuti tecnologici. Apro la confezione e trovo una bella custodia in simil pelle con dentro le cuffie ripiegate in stile Sony e bose qc. L’aspetto è buono ma la forma insolita. Le collego in un attimo e tramite app aggiorno subito il firmware.
ASCOLTO: le cuffie suonano abbastanza bene, anche se non c’è la possibilità di equalizzare il suono. Il suono è lineare con una prevalenza sulle basse frequenze (forse esagerata) , se ci fosse la possibilità di regolare l’equalizzazione sicuramente potrebbero accontentare i gusti soggettivi . La funzione 3D è interessante ma, per l’ascolto della musica non la preferisco, la trovo più adatta alla visione di film o contenuti multimediali in genere. L’aspetto interessante è la funzione Head Tracking, che segue i movimenti della testa (se ascolto la musica, girando la testa a sinistra, il suono si sposta a destra seguendo l’origine del suono e viceversa ,simulando l’ascolto di fronte al musicista o gruppo musicale) la realizzazione è buona ma secondo me non adeguata al costo. Le trovo abbastanza dure e scomode, non credo si riesca a indossarle per più di 1 o 2 ore (ma questo è un giudizio soggettivo) in definitiva le ho rese in quanto non trovo il prezzo di vendita adeguato rispetto a quanto offerto. Ci sono prodotti superiori ad un prezzo più contenuto. Se in futuro dovessero scendere di prezzo ,sicuramente varrebbe la pena di prenderle seriamente in considerazione. Come sempre un applauso ad Amazon e comunque complimenti alla Yamaha per l’impegno, possono migliorare un prodotto innovativo che al momento non ha competitori nel genere . Le renderei più comode ed aggiungerei nella app la possibilità di equalizzare.
