I use a 24 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD setup for my office work. This mac feels average than usual and leaves a lot to be desired.

Apart from slow SSDs that many people have already talked about I want to rant about the poor interfacing capabilities with 3rd party hardware.

For my development work. I almost never use laptop screen and instead rely on an Amazon basics connector to connect my mac to a 24″ Benq monitor and Logitech wireless keyboard-mouse combo.

The monitor display is not used at full resolution due to scaling issues with macs and the keyboard-mouse combo doesn’t work if placed more than half a feet away. I used to use the same set up with 2017 mac book air and never had any of theses issues. Seems like they Mac team is going backwards.

Moreover, my 2013 AMD-powered windows laptop that takes 15 minutes to boot, still gives fantastic resolution on the same monitor and work pretty well with the KM combo.

If you’re an MacBook user, go for it. M2 chip is far better than M1.

This M2 Macbook Pro might look a good upgrade over the M1 or other Intel/AMD based laptops, but the actual story is different.

The SSD on M2 Macbook Pro is way inferior as compared to M1 Macbook Pro’s SSD. Nearly half the speed of that of M1 pro.

Also, if you are ready to pay 1.5 lakh for this slow device, it would be better if you pay 1.9 for the 14 inch M1 Macbook Pro. That’ll give you more value for your money.

The M2 pro is a bad idea.

    Please, save your money!

I shifted from windows OS to Mac OSX first time, when I bought this product 3 weeks ago, from iStore (would recommend everyone to do so).
I became familiar to the new features of a new OS, and feel prepared to give a review from my experience.

Yes, all the previous reviews of mac m2 pro are true. From keyboard to screen to performance and speed and battery, Apple is a GOOD choice overall for all kinds of users. For gaming, this is not ideal choice as there are multiple assembled-options in the market for custom-specific users. Again, if you plan to use it in a city or country where it supports many features of Apple, then it is a must go. And buy an iPhone along if you’re a first time user, you will love to use Apple.
