Pros:
• It is cheaper than other branded heater. (although it is expensive than non-branded heater but their use may compromise fire safety.
• It works.* (Yes it does increase temperature)
• Light weight
Cons:
• * – It should be turned on for continuous heating as heat subsidizes drastically as soon as you turn it off. It means this won’t provide heat till entire night (for that you should be having big b*lls to keep it turned on for the entire night.)
• Cannot warm the entire room. The heat dissipate proportional to the distance and becomes almost zero at 2 meter distance. So it is like personal heater rather than room heater.

The media could not be loaded.
It does not have a heating coil radiant. It is just a bulb like, halogen filament heater. It good till 3-4 feet distance. You can point at yourself and sit, it works fine.. but fails to heat the room. Even a small room with closed doors takes very long time to get warm. Yes it is light weight, easy to use and a good heater in this price.. but depends on your use and purpose. If you have a medium size room, don’t go for it. It wont heat up. If you have small room or want it in hostel or pointing at you at home, go for it. Personally, I think when purchasing a room heater we should go for a coil one i.e. radiant heater.

I bought this for my family, I received the product.
My first impression was the product is white and very light weight. I carefully unboxed the item and plugged it. I was a bit surprised when I plugged it in. Because there are two heat rods that are meant to get hot and radiate heat, but only 1 was working. I tried all the possible combinations of the two switches that were on the item(as you can see in the video).
I was a bit sad and issued a replacement. I got the money back within 4 hours of the item return(courtesy of AMAZON).
The product is very good, with missing 1 of the 2 heat rods it was radiating goot ammount of heat. 2 heat rods would be a very perfect for me. This type of incident OFFTEN happens with product, they are not intentional. As you can see I got my return fairly quickly.
So if you ask me to buy a fully working version of this, I will definately say YES.
and if you are searching for alternatives I will recommend “USHA Quartz Room Heater”

The Bajaj room heater is highly utilitarian. It is compact in size and light in weight. Added to it is the assurance of a good brand in heating and electrical appliances. The heater is very effective for my 10’ by 14’ room. The designing is such that the surface does not get hot even after long hours of use and it can be very easily lifted even by a child or a frail person. The only drawback is the light emanated from the rods-it can affect the sleep of a person who is used to sleeping in totally dark or in dim light of a night bulb. Nevertheless, I definitely recommend this product. W.r.t the light issue, I have another room heater of same size but another brand, which emanates less intense light but is not as effective as this one….
