Amazing sound. A much more balanced sound than my DT 1770 I found. Even for a “bass head” the DT 1990 have a nice level of punch. I’m hardly an audiophile but I really enjoy listening to music with the DT 1990s, even compared to the DT 1770s.
However, I am on my third pair. The first pair had an awful creak in the right ear cup whenever I moved my jaw. It became so irritating that I returned them. The second set had a loose mini XLR socket for the cable so it wiggled around. They also creaked. After some research online, it turned out the creaking was experienced by others and you could eliviate it by loosening the two screws on the ear cups either side but I didn’t try it. It eventually disappeared after wearing in I presume. Hoepfully the third set is trouble free – at least the socket isn’t loose!

Excelente calidad de audio, desde luego que va conectado a mi Mojo Chord y da una calidad de audio muy buena, los eh probado contra mis Audiotechinca y mis Bose QC35 y nada que ver, para ser honesto me gusta la cancelación de ruido de los BOSE pero en sonido creo alcanzar a escuchar son mejor los BEYER. Saludos

So good for music production, you can hear absolutely everything, every pop and every bit of static, comfortable as well. Definitely one of the best around this price range.
