Very pleased with these – as headphones. Trouble is, I wanted a superior alternative to the standard Apple set that wouldn’t keep falling out of my ears during conference calls when I’m working at home. They don’t fall out, but they fit so snugly, and seal out so much ambient noise, that my voice resonates inside my head like the voice of Deep Thought saying “You’re really not going to like it.” I really can’t wear them and speak at the same time, which makes the inline microphone redundant.
So I keep these in my work bag, and when I’m in the office, trying to concentrate and needing to shut out the foghorn voice of my desk-neighbour, in they go. And for that, they work a treat. Their sound is exactly what I want – balanced, detailed, dynamic, without any attention-seeking boost to one part of the frequency spectrum. Orchestral basses sound deep and woody, with a realistic growl; rock drums are properly percussive, without being over-resonant. Generally, a very impressive sonic performance, but I should have saved a few quid and bought the listen-only DMX version.

I chose these based on the recommendation from The Wirecutter (www.thewirecutter.com). It is their current top pick for in-ear headphones under $100. Good quality headphones for the price. The headphones provide neutral, detailed sound. The high and low frequencies are not over emphasized like on a lot of cheaper and similar priced headphones. The mid-range frequencies are nicely presented. The sound is very smooth and pleasant to listen to for long listening sessions. Reading some of review sites, I understand there is a slight emphasis in the bass and there is a slight attenuation of the high frequencies. What I can definitely say, is that these headphones are not for people who like a lot of bass.

This is a superb pair of in ears I have ever owned at this price , I used synnehiser , bose & klipch ear phones but nothing beats them
I strongly recommend this product.

Had many earphones in the past in the 100,s .. Last ones were klipsch images at over £100.00 ( lost them ) and also have on ear AKG 450,s but wanted another in ear set .. Can’t really audition in ears but don’t bother these will be all you need .. Stunning … give them a while to bed in .. Treble is clear and the bass is tight not too overbearing and midrange is as good as I have heard maybe not as comfortable as some but the musicality will make you forget you’ve got them in anyway … Have even used them with my naim uniti and they are fantastic …. Can’t go wrong for £ 70.00 … ENJOY

These earphones sound great. Unfortunately after about two weeks of use they started giving me problems, such as automatically triggering Siri and pausing music whilst in my pocket. The earphones are still in perfect condition so I don’t know why this is happening. The return period is shut for this product so I can’t get a refund/replacement. I’d recommend going for the DTX model instead.

The headphone is good. Nothing special. You can purchase it but don’t expect it anything great. Also I found the connecting leaft and right wire with the main audio signal wire a bit too cheap and non-durable-ish.

Superb sound quality, I’d bought a pair of Sennheiser CX200s before which I thought were great, but did not anticipate to find so much previously unheard depth in music. These headphones are perfect if you want to spend a bit more money on headphones, to get a lot more out of your music. It’s clear all money you are investing is going straight into product quality, Beyerdynamic being a fairly unknown brand, you’re not paying a premium for a label; as you would with more well known brands. Anyone dipping their toes into the sea of audiophilia, I think these are your answer.

Pathetic!! Thats the word, comes in my mind.. you can get better sound than this on a lot cheaper ones like Sennheiser CX 275s, although durability on sennheiser is not that great, that’s why i bought this one and this is even worse.
Mic stopped working after 3 weeks and now right earpiece is also gone mad, and as reported by others it is automatically opening apps and sometimes phone gets stuck and as soon as u unplug phone starts working which doesn’t happen with any other set of headsets.
I use headsets for around 10 to 12 hours a day and mic for 2 hours of talking daily.
