1. The AC refrigerant has leaked twice since installation
2. The time taken to reach the desired temperature is way to high. Possibly due to leaked refrigerant.
3. The bluestar installation team will show you that the AC does not work without a stabilizer and will fool you into buying a stabilizer separately. Didn’t expect this kind of conning from bluestar.
4. While in turbo mode the swing won’t work, when I asked the service Engineer they mentioned it’s by design. I have been using a 1.5 ton bluestar ac in a different room since past 7 years and does swing even when in turbo mode. If it’s by design, bluestar need to go back to the drawing board as there is no logical explanation for that.
5. Even though the display led on the unit has been turned off, it lights up everytime an operation is done using a remote and stays on even after that. At has to be turned down again.
Conclusion: its a crappy piece of product designed by Bluestar. Noting about the product is appealing apart from the looks. I would suggest do not opt to buy this model.

No doubt, Bluestar AC is a good choice. But the installation service of the dealer is very pathetic. Installation staff charges more than the amount mentioned in the Amazon application for the Installation of the Air conditioner.

I wasn’t quite confident whether the AC would be strong enough for the room. I was so wrong. I am so glad.
I have been using this AC everyday for 8 hours at 24°c (auto). I have had some of the best sleep in a long time.
I ha e bought some fake vines to hide the wiring. Looks even better. 🙂
Would love it if the brand launches quality covers for when the summers are over.

Initially we received a broken item. As the installation happened after the 10 days, the replacement policy expired and therefore we supposed to depend on bluestar for the replacement of Broken part. Though it’s a 1 month long process, finally the installed AC without any remark. I trust blue star because it is one of the the very few air conditioner providers in India which has its own manufacturing facility within India. Blue Star is known for manufacturing AC for Hitachi also. Any broken parts or repaors in future would be easily addressed because the spres should be available at all the time. The cooling efficiency of this one ton AC is admirable

The product works excellently. But its not worth buying here as there are multiple issues:
1. Installation charges are high. It will be less if we interact directly with Bluestar customer care.
2. No copper cable of 3meter will be given with the product. We have to purchase it from the Installation guys and they charge u more than what Amazon will pay it back to u.
3. Had to do multiple follow-ups with Amazon customer care to get the amount reimbursed for the copper cable.

I have BlueStar 1.5 ton 5 Star inverter split in my Living Room already and giving very good energy efficiency and it is showing in my bills. I have window ac in my bedroom which is very old and I repaired it twice. Also it generates higher units in bills.So this summer I don’t want to repair it again. I decided to go for new split 5 star 1 ton AC. So I started searching, comparing rates in shops and online. So far I got best deal on Amazon in summer sale. I got this BlueStar for 29k on exchange of old ac. I am writing this review after using it only for 2 days. So I will update it after some months. Installation charges are approx 1200. If more copper pipe required it costs 300/MTR. It has no horizontal swing only vertical swings. Most of 1 ton split acs not having that except LG and some other couple of brands I found. It has backlit remote. Outdoor unit is not having much sound. Indoor unit sound is below 30db.

Energy efficient, I hardly crossed 1500 Electricity bill whenever i use the AC at least 7 to 8 hours a day (during summer). Normally bill is around 700rs per month.
Loved the design.
The trust of tata.
Cons: remote should have light in its buttons. Rest fine.
