Red and green light not working, when called customer service no body visited in 15 days after several calls.. unhappy with the service. It seems Blue Star doesn’t care about their customers at all. Though I like the product but unhappy with the service.

I am happy with the product overall. During installation faced some issues but once the guy came home to install, things were sorted. Actually the call centre was inefficient. Product is good and nicely built.

The product is good and test is also similar to the Kent one. The water inlet and reject valve is on right and power plug on left side. The complin is that the pump had some problem and it is terribly noisy. Service guy would replace it but that caused some delay which is bad considering we need water everyday.

Pathetic customer supprt BLUE STAR. No proper reply on emails. Only misleading. 3 time I had to change filter within a year of purchase. Wrote mail to BLUE STAR no response.

After using it over 1 n half years finally I want to give review on this product. This is a budgetary product. Over all its good product with less maintenance required as compared to other brands. Only one problem it has auto TDS regulator, which cuts 80-90% TDs from your tap water. If your local tap water TDs 115ppm, after passing through RO is gives TDs less than 20ppm and which is not recommended to drink with such less TDs. It could have been better if this product had manual TDs regulator.

After installation of the RO by the bluestar team, I noticed that the motor inside the RO is making a noise more than usual so I reported it to the Bluestar CC and their representative visited and found out that the motor was indeed faulty and was making loud noise. The representative called his agency/boss and told him about the situation and said that the motor will need replacement as the product is under warranty. But to my surprise just after 10 mins the motor issue was fixed (BCOZ I WAS TOLD SO) and I trusted the brand and its representative.
After 6 months I shifted to a new place and then the new RO guy who installed the RO said that your RO is not working after installing as he couldn’t feel the motor buzzing sound. I told him about the above incident to which he immediately laughed and said ‘bewakoof bna gae’.
He opened the RO infront of me and there it was the motor wire just hanging lose. He plugged in the wire and the RO started making that bad noise again.
So now I am stuck for a while with the RO that makes noise like a tractor. A brand ‘BLUESTAR’ that I can no longer trust and will not recommend to anyone. And above all last 6 months I consumed unfiltered water. All thanks to BLUESTAR.
Now I am after the agency who is responsible. This happened with me when I was living in Sector 81 Gurgaon. (If it helps you to make a wiser decision because it directly impacts the health of our family)

Everytime we use the water from the filter, double the amount is discarded from the back end of the filter which I think is very wasteful.
