👍The rice gets cooked perfectly, no sticking to the bottom of the pan. (Add 2cups water for 1cup rice and 1spoonful of cooking oil and cooking time is around 30mins at 650watt)
⏰THE ALARM function is awesome. It does the countdown from 10 mins prior to ending of cooking and when it’s finally done it BEEPS BEEPS so you can notice across the room.🔥🔥
👍It is intelligent enough to cook rice, soup, gravy, steam veggies with pre programmed settings.
👍The build quality is very good. Supposedly made of stainless steel exterior so shouldn’t rust. Will update my review is something goes wrong.
👍The delay timer function from 2-15 hrs is awesome. I tried and it worked. Don’t know the electricity consumption during the delay period but you can get steaming hot rice just when you reach home from office.
👍The steam vent is well engineered so that it doesn’t spill excess of water.
👍The water collection container on the side hinge of lid is very well engineered such that there is literally zero spillage of water.
👍The handle on the lid is very sturdy thus great for travelling.
👍Also the exterior steel body doesn’t get hot so easy to carry and handle but at the same time keeps the rice hot for 3-4hrs even when switched off.
👍It does haveKEEP WARM function.
👍The accessories provided (1X plastic steam basket, 1X plastic measuring cup, 1X soup spoon, 1X rice spoon, 1X power cable 10A, 1X aluminium nonstick pan are of great quality.
👎🏿At this price the provided cooking pan could have been of stainless steel instead of aluminium.
👎🏿The hinge of the lid is made of plastic and is a little wobbly.
👎🏿Due to its compact portable design it is not easy to clean.
⚠️It certainly is an expensive product. Go for it if you need quality and those extra functionalities⚠️ Value for money for those who cares.

I purchased this product on 5 August 2020. My wife a headmistress and our bahu a doctor are both constrained for time and so this Borosil Digicook rice cooker with delay timer is negating their problem of serving and palate-ing hot rice at meal times and we all LOVE the rice and vegetables cooked and steamed in it. Unfortunately our maid damaged its lid while washing but Borosil after-sales service is excellent as they timely rectified it. Overall the Borosil Digicook Rice Cooker fits its description entirely. Thanks Borosil and thanks Amazon.

The Product is good and useful. No problem in cooking.
But the latch of the lid broke during use and Borosil Service forced me to replace the entire lid assembly, fully.
Was wondering why the latch which is made of plastic could not be replaced in a cost effective manner.
It took more than a month for Borosil to respond after the complaint was raised and cost me a 10% of the product cost. INR 340/-.

It looks great. Multiple cooking options are good. Delay timer is a nice feature.
One drawback is that it takes more time to cook rice than regular rice cookers.

This a perfect piece of equipment but an expensive one. So let’s be clear, this is not for all.
This has been specifically designed for those who really need it with special add on features.
I would not recommend you to buy it if you are never going to use the features for which you pay such a good price.
Pros
1. Amazing design – adds elegance to your kitchen
2. Cooking capacity is large
3. The function of delay timer, warm up, steamer are excellent Add ons.
Cons:
1. You need to have a good amount of rice to cook. If you put small quantity in it, most of it will burn and get stuck to the bottom.
2. Washing it is a minor issue.
3. If you actually don’t need the fancy electronic features it offers, then simply go for a regular one instead of investing your money in it.
If you really think you can use the features it offers, then go for it. It can be a very intelligent and useful add on to your kitchen.

This cooker makes perfect rice all the time. The taste of the rice is very nice. Only minus us that we have to spend some time to clean it, the excess water comes out from the vents and stays on top in the cooker.
I got this for ₹5000 but just next week the price dropped to ₹3500 that was a true disappointing movement, but the cooker was good so I kept it.

This just an awesomely thing to have for a working professional like me just set the timer and forget.. we will have steaming hot rice/ soup/ veggies/ momos just in time and as you need them to be.. super happy with the package..
And nothing else can beat Amazon it terms of customer centricity… received damaged product first and was replaced in just 2 days!
