This is my 4th Bose Collection which I am proud of now , I had apprehensions investing 80k for a soundbar when I already had Bose companion 5 speakers,this one takes movie watching and music listening to next level. You can feel the whirling sounds of aircraft,bullets from different corenoof the roo.. Just watch the “unbroken” movie to truly experience what this soundbar is capable of! The only sad part is ok Google does not work in India ,alexa works really well so does adaptiq settings brings richer experience,you will fall in love!

I was looking for a sound bar for my room ..I considered loads of choices including Sonos, Yamaha , lg, Sony … I already have Bose lifestyle system which is old now for todays technology , so I had some idea about the sound Bose is capable of making .. y is decided to go for this soundbar while chosing between Bose 500 , sound touch 3 … I read lots review regarding all of them then finally decided to go with there latest and greatest (if they say so ) .
I was a little scared as I have not heard a sound bar before was not sure if I should have ordered a bass module along .. but I decided to try it out without it . Finally it came home on time thanks to amazon .
Setting it up was no problem at all .. I had seen videos on youtube the night before for installation which were very helpful so I would recommend strongly that if u are getting one watch some videos before installation . It needs to be done in a certain manner if you will follow it step by step you will have hassle free installation .
well once everything was good to go I took a while a did a set up of universal remote that come along with sounder 700 ..it is a very good looking remote only drawback I find it to be heavy and the buttons have no tactile feel on them ..rest it worked like a charm .. I dont need other remote then this to operate my tv , cable box , sounder n fire stick . I wish they has a mic in the remote for voice recognition feature this would have been perfect thing with it .
well getting along I started by playing some deep bass instrumental music and frankly I was not disappointed at all … it was clear good sound … the application lets you control bass / treble n centre channel for vocals which I found to be very good .. the application was smooth in performing all the tasks as well .
I can see where Bose is heading they want to create a system in which the customer can keep upgrading with time without the fear of discarding their old system.
If u r looking to but something for your personal use and dont want to spend a lot by going to high ended branded speakers then look no further .
bose is very good if not the best .. I am happy with it .
I will again suggest dont forget to watch videos on youtube about installation do’s n don’t . Goodluck Happy Listening.

We use it one month, it’s quality very good but one disadvantage of it ,not aney wall or cabinet fixing angle provisions given with bose,this musicsystem only place on table top,or cabinet top.

The media could not be loaded.
Excellent sound stage.. Crisp and clear sound with mind blowing bass. Pls buy the Bass module 700 to enjoy utmost like movie theatre..

Just a Note: Hear in at least 85% volume with headphone and feel the dynamic range it produces at end. I know its lot different than hearing in front of it and in headphone.. but still you can get an idea..😊

First, the good bits:
The soundbar looks elegant and outputs excellent sound. I am happy with the sound and the looks. I have not compared it with other soundbars, though.
Now the annoying bits:
I could not set up the soundbar on my own. I downloaded the manual from their web site and followed the instructions. Installed the music App on my iPad, then plugged the soundbar. The app identified the soundbar and indicated that the soundbar was updating (with the latest software from the net). There was a LED series that kept moving from right to left, indicating that the updating was going on. The update was expected to last for about 25 minutes. But in my case, it went on for more than 24 hours, with no end in sight. The Music app is really dumb; just kept showing a rotating circle (meaning busy) for 24 hours without any other feedback. It could have gone on indefinitely, had I not switched off the soundbar.
In the mean time I got in touch with the technical support on the toll free number. As per their advice, set the soundbar to factory defaults and restarted the setup process. The soundbar again got stuck in the update loop indefinitely.
I also tried updating the soundbar by downloading the update file from Bose web site. Strangely, the soundbar did not recognise the downloaded file!
Fortunately the technical support team on the toll free number put me in touch with the Bose Service Centre in my city (Hyderabad). The Service Centre asked my to carry the Soundbar to them, which I did. The setup in the Service Centre was smooth and took about one hour. Yes, the Service Centre guys were friendly and helpful.
Once I got back home, I paired the soundbar and the remote, then the remote and the Hathway set top box. The remote did not recognise my TV Samsung (AU40J5300). I connected the soundbar to my TV, using HDMI cable. Even though the specs of the TV claim both the HDMI ports are ARC compatible, there was no sound from the soundbar. I have no idea where the problem lies – in the TV or the soundbar. Once I connected the optic cable, the TV was audible through the soundbar.
Even though the universal remote is paired with the set top box, it is not very reliable. The remote fails to control the set top box randomly.
I was hopeful that I could use just the one remote that came with the soundbar to control my TV, set top box and the soundbar. No such luck, I ended up with three remotes now.
