Bose Smart Soundbar 900 Dolby Atmos with Alexa Built-in, Bluetooth connectivity – White

I purchased this product mainly for listening to movies and TV shows. The content in Dolby Atmos really sounded great. The bass is good but not great without a subwoofer.

I have brought the Bose Soundbar 900 after doing thorough research, both online and at physical stores. I was initially planning to get either JBL or Samsung. Went to Croma to hear them out. While both of them were good, and bit cheaper that Bose 900, the sound quality was very “heavy and thick” for my taste.

Bose sound quality is bit different. It is very clear and low distortion. The bass from 900 is very good, though I plan to augment it further with Bass 500, to get the home theater experience. The sound is very rich and clear.

The packaging should have been better, for a 1lakh product. Also, the connectivity issue persists with Spotify. Songs just don’t play when you switch between apps or try to switch between tv to soundbar. It seems to be connection between spotify and bose app.

Otherwise, the music / sound itself is fantastic. I have a decent size room, on the smaller side, and for me, the effects are good.

It looks elegant in white colour and is surely an eye turner and also a head banger too!!

Great product. Let us see how long it lasts.

I have a set up with a Horizon Pro 4K projector from XGIMI, and I didn’t see much feedback on projector configurations over bluetooth so here we go.

At first I was hesitant about a bluetooth soundbar after reading reviews about sound delay (I’m not ready to wire the room yet). The projector’s throw distance to the wall is about 20ft, and I installed the bar with brackets just under the bottom edge of the image.

Bottom line is the Bose 900 works great. It connects automatically every time and there is virtually no noticeable delay. Sound is rich and bass is strong. The setup has to be done through the Bose app, which allows you to configure the surround effect. Note you cannot get Dolby Atmos through bluetooth, but I’m not an audiophile and this is fine for now for me and my family.

Lastly I picked up a refurbished one through Amazon for half price and I can say it looks and works as new.

Literally!!…nothing comes close to it’s sound. Bass response is so detailed, punchy and powerful. Natural sound is the best sound. Just go for it 👌

first time bose customer – long time home entertainment system user. setup was easy and straight forward – however – if you think you can connect everything with bluetooth and expect to work flawlessly you have another thing coming

first – my tv is a sony brava 85 inch led smart tv- google tv
second – i have this paired up with a bass module and surround speakers

now when i pair this up with bluetooth to the tv – the audio comes in and out constantly – i ultimtaely found out its some kind of issue with the the way the remote works with bluetooth which conflicts a lot of the sound

i originally bought this unit and the other components because its bose and i could do it all wirelessly – in the end – now i have to have two remotes – and i had to connect the soundbar via optical to stop the bluetooth audio blanking out every so many minutes

bose should have done a better job with integrations into current tv manufacturers to make sure this doesnt happen

when i bluetooth to the bar via phone or laptop it also has the issue of audio cutting out

even worse – the audio is delayed bigly as they say –

if you wind up getting this bar – heed my advise – connect via optical or maybe hdmi if that works for you – otherwise – expect audio cutting in and out no matter what you do
