I purchased this around a month and half back and so far the journey has been incredible. I don’t miss the EVF at all just because the live monitor display offers so much closer experience like a smartphone and a powerful camera combined. The lens on offer here is really versatile for landscape photography. Though the crop factor allows the lens to offer close to 70mm which is good enough for close up shots. Though I do miss a compatible and affordable 70mm-140mm-210mm lenses for like shooting the moon 😛
Its best feature is the usability of basic SD cards like the one we use in mobile phones. This makes it very cost effective also.

Super easy to use. Very user friendly controls, low noise in most conditions, and light-weight. Autofocus is very snappy. Go for it.

Thank you Canon. One of the easiest way to use settings & lot of inbuilt profiles – I love the touch and high quality images 32.5MP. Specially its giving best output in low light/Dark compare to other cameras. Only thing need to get used to hold this compact & small body size. Normal DSLRs will be bit huge compare to this one. But beauty of this you can easily carry in pocket no need of huge DSLR backpacks. You will fall in love with this product.

A Good Camera but not worth the cost,
And more expensive,
You should buy everything seperately like EF-M Mount, Viewfinder, Lens.
The camera with 15-45mm lens is 75k, but you should buy a viewfinder, an EF-M Mount and lens like minimum 18-135mm to use it to the fullest and which Costs minimum 40-50k apart from Camera!
So, that makes a total of 1.2Lakh.
And trust me, if you’re a beginner and you think what comes with camera is enough, after the first use, you will only feel that you require the add-ons.
And the picture quality is also not so great!
I bought this camera as an upgrade for my 1500D camera.
And I felt even though it gives 32.5MP, 1500D is better than this in quality and detail.
And also it also comes with anti-alias(low pass filter) which impacts on the sharpness and detail level.
The battery backup is also a minus point, it gets low faster compared to 1500D.
It covers less area and also it’s sensor pixel area is lesser than the previous models of Canon which were released in 2015-16. You can clearly see the dots appearing while taking photos or videos.
Overall, it’s a big NO from me if you’re thinking of buying this camera to use for a longtime.
It’s better to go for Canon’s 200D, 90D n 6D Mark II over this. Because they come with all the features and also add-on lens, mainly viewfinder which is the most important one even for next generation cams.

I’m a hobbyist photographer you can find me on instagram as c17hawke for more photos.
But I must say I’m absolutely happy with the results that I’m getting with this camera. And it’s so easy to operate just like a new phone.
