From the time it was installed, there is a sound that’s there..When I called the service people they said they would send someone nthe didn’t. Didnt expect this from carrier.

1. The quality of the remote is not upto Carrier standards. It’s difficult to insert the 2*AAA batteries and even worse is to close
2. The ac is also not quite silent. There is fair amount of noise.

Reviewing after almost a month. This is the second Carrier AC that I’ve bought. The AC is great and cools really fast. Only thing I didn’t like is the cheap remote they have provided with the AC.
Apart from that everything seems good so far. Good installation and service by Carrier

This window AC from Carrier comes with the new 2022 star ratings and the manufacturing date is of Feb 2023. So, it’s a very recent unit.
Cooling is very good, one can really feel it.
Installation was scheduled on the very same day of delivery, however we scheduled it to the next day as per our convenience and it was done without any hassle.
I don’t have any complaints against the AC but against the Remote Control. This AC comes with a small remote control, has no LED display on it and the buttons are very small and are not good to use. They get stuck on being pressed and also the plastic quality of the remote is below average. Looks like carrier has imported these remotes from some cheap 3rd party provider.
I am deducting one star just for the bad quality of remote. No issues with the quality of the AC or service.

Product is good. But cooling effects take a long time as compared to my earlier Carrier 1.5 ton installed in 2008. Overall performance is good.
