I wanted a simple wired mouse that would last me, so I got the MS3220. As a traditional mouse it was fine and the size is close enough to what I like. I also like that the scroll wheel is more flat which makes it more comfortable on my finger.

The side buttons are a little awkward to press with my thumb; the buttons have a long but inconsistent feeling travel and the area is small. You won’t be accidentally pressing them as a bonus, but I never ended up getting used to relying on them either.

This mouse installs Dell software whenever you plug it into Windows, without your consent, and you have to manually uninstall the software yourself. Whenever the PC detects the mouse is in a different USB port, does a system update, or just installs newer drivers, the Dell software will come back.

And to top it off, the mouse scroll wheel stopped functioning properly after a couple of weeks and the optical travel started acting jumpy and inconsistent. I had to open it up and try to clean it myself, and I should warn for anyone to not use air and to be extremely careful inside as the large lens is exposed and very susceptible to moisture, dust and dirt getting trapped between the chasis… that requires a complete disassembly to access. The mouse is not protected at all really.

Even with all that effort, the problem still remains and the mouse functionality remains inconsistent.

El ratón por el peso no desliza bien aunque tengo como alfombrilla de buena calidad (Logitech)

I really wanted to like this mouse and it is a really good mouse, but upon plugging it in the Dell Peripheral Manager is downloaded and installed on to your system, I unistalled it but then a few days later it is reinstalled. I discovered that built into the mouse is a device that scans your system every so often to see if the Dell Peripheral Manager is installed on your system and if not, it phones home to Dell and installs it for you. If you go into device manager in Windows and look for the pictured device and disable it, the process shouldn’t happen again. Just be careful when doing Windows updates, disabled hardware gets re-enabled and you will have to repeat the process.

On s attend a une meilleure qualite au niveau des clicks un peu bruyant. Vu la qualite de la souris je ne comprend pas son prix meme a 20euros elle est trop chere.
