This came in its own packaging and did not have any extra Amazon packaging. But the immersion heater does its job well and heats the water without harming the plastic bucket to which it is clipped.
Though it claims that it is safe to touch the water to check the temperature with the heater on, I strongly suggest that you switch the heater off and take out the 3 pin plug from the wall socket before touching the water. That simple safety precaution is ingrained in me and so, I did not check the safety feature of the immersion heater and strongly urge you the reader too to follow basic safety.
It takes about 20 minutes for a bucket of water to get heated enough for a comfortable bath.
