Good Product but price is at higher side.

Do not install the product yourself if you want a warranty. Call their customer care as soon as you receive the product, for installation.
This is a terribly overpriced product. Buy it only if you don’t care about the price otherwise go for some better Indian brand.
Pros:
– Looks great.
– Looks really good.
– Nice design and looks.
– It works most of the time.
Cons:
– Its highest flame level is not enough for our Indian cooking style. Especially for pressure cookers now it is taking 40 minutes when my 20-year-old Hitachi stove(which has piezo auto-ignition and still works flawlessly) could do it in 20-25 minutes.
– Oh, you cannot adjust the flame level. Na.
– I got a defective switch circuit which randomly doesn’t work sometimes. Luckily it was covered under warranty and is replaced now.
– LOW FLAME is horrible. It is unstable and keeps choking for gas.

Disappointed with delivery as it took 2 days to reach doorstep from local hub. The delivery executive made the disappointment gone with uber cool delivery. 5⭐ to you wherever you are.
Coming to the product. Where on this universe needs a separate technician to install a cook top that too on chargeable basis ?? Dear Elica pls find other way to do your secondary marketing. Although the charge is not too high but it’s a tedious task to have the technician at your door step. You can’t register for warranty on app. It’s bizzare that the status of app shows successful registeration but the customer service team tells you the same is not done. And o dear, the most pathetic customer support on this world should be from Elica. They don’t have access to service technician, they don’t have access to escalate the call. They don’t know anything except to take feedback and ask to wait for 24 hrs. If you are in a view to buy this, prepare for a tiresome journey of phone calls to the world’s pathetic customer care team to get the hose of your gas connected to the stove.

Review after 4 years. Auto ignition crete problem in 1 month. service very bad. Battery setup low quality plastic is used. Had to keep the battery hanging under the stove & irreplaceable. Burners & other material is low quality.

After 1 year of usage , the burner has turned pitch black. I show my nephew the burner colour to show him black colour.
Also , the auto ignition system does not work properly. To be more precise, the auto ignition takes almost 10 seconds to turn on the burner.
Speaking of the customer service, they were prompt to reply but denied free service and replacement saying this is not applicable under warranty. Overall , my mom is fed up of the stove and we will replace it soon. Hope this helps others.

Just for the good looks, got 2 units, one for my parents and the other for me.
First the cons: The biggest issue is, these have an inherent design flaw on the big burner. The auto ignition will not work as designed. The reason is the auti ignition wick is placed very close to the burner. Hence the spark generated does not reach the burner top from where the gas comes out. Instead the spark hits the burner body. You can work around this flaw by pushing back the pin/wick slightly.
Other than this, did not find any cons.
The unit uses a LR20 battery to power the auto ignition. Also another design flaw, no matter what burner knob you turn, all 3 auto ignition wicks spark. This wastes battery.
Flame spread is good which results in quick heating.
Pretty easy to clean, however you need to wait for the oven to cool down before you can clean, else the glass might crack due to the temperature difference.
The gas pipe input can be adjusted for angle.

The Indian version of this brand is not upto the quality. The build and look is good, which is why i bought it. But when it comes to durability and reliability, I feel it lacks there.
I purchased the 4-burner auto-ignition version of this in Dec 2018, Used it till March (till then the largest burner was having some issue when burning). After that I was away for 4 months. Now after this time when i started using it the other medium burner’s auto-ignition stopped working. I then called the Elica Technician, who first took more than a week to turn up and when today he came, he told me that the auto-ignition generator needs to replaced and thou I am still under the warranty, the auto-ignition is not covered and I have to cough up 2500 Rs. to get it replaced and he will provide 1 year warranty on it. This was like a shock for me, for a brand and product of this quality fail so soon.
Well i didn’t get the generator replaced as i felt its unjustifiable, then he fixed the other large burner issue where the gas was not coming properly. I had to pay Rs. 350 for his visit.
Now I have to call Elica and talk to them regarding this, but I am not much hopeful. The technician told me that many customers are facing similar issue. So my suggestion is the best to avoid this brand. I have Surya at my other home with auto-ignition and its till working great after more than 5 years of use..its also toughened glass top, with 3 burners.
I am super disappointed in Elica, i also purchased their chimney, so far its running fine with no issue, but now I am concerned about its quality as well. I hope Elica India listens to this and tries to do more rigorous quality check and fix these issues.
