1. Sturdy enough even though the ear-buds give a fragile impression at first.
2. Tangle-free, yes; but the ear-buds need to be untangled every time – no biggie, can’t be helped considering the design (which is great).
3. Waterproof – no idea, but certainly sweat-proof! Light drizzle did not have any adverse effect at all.
Controls are good but the volume slider could have been smoother or differently made. Takes a bit of effort to slide back and forth to the desired volume.
4. Speech – no one complained about clarity of my calls, so all good in that department.
5. The box – nice, cute, small and not of use to me, but good stuff, not some cheap, shabby box you expect to break open at the hinges in two days.
6. Ear-buds – I am using the largest one and it is a little too effective in the noise cancellation department – I have to take them out a bit when talking to hear myself normally!
7. Sound (listening) clarity: I am no expert but songs, words, everything sound clear enough – the right ear-bud has significantly less volume than the left one but with both buds in, the sound plays perfectly well. Bass and treble balanced, as far as I can feel – but again, I am not an expert.
Okay, now let’s nit-pick a bit.
1. From where the wire divides into two parts to end in an ear-bud each – basically the part of the earphone that needs to be clipped (with the attached clip – last I saw something like this in a Sony Ericsson phone accessory about nine years back) to your dress is a little too short in length. This becomes even more significant if you wear the buds by looping them over your ears instead of just inserting them from below.
2. It took a lot of effort (I have bifocals) to find the R and L on the buds. This definitely should be taken care of. Yeah, that was quite an annoyance.
3. The straight jack means when you insert the phone in your pocket, you are forced to keep it earphone-jack side up. I would have preferred the flexibility that an L jack offers.
4. I don’t like the design and the colour but it kind of grows on you 🙂 Maybe the makers can think of all black versions or less showy ones.
Okay, that’s all I could think of. I deducted half a star for the four points in nitpicking section! And kept half a point in reserve for durability. It has only been a month or so. If it lasts a year, I will come back and give it five stars (no provision for 4.5) and if one earbud conks it in six months, I will reduce the rating considerably.
NOTE: I just ordered another one because the one that this review is based on got damaged accidentally. One ear bud is torn off. I don’t suppose there is provision for repair – may be I will contact the seller. But anyway, the reason I mention this – I do have a spare pair of earphones (which came with a phone and are pretty good and sturdy) but I have grown quite attached to this product. Like I said, it grows on you!

Ok, I did not expect these to be so good.
For a product that is new, I feel that the everycom earbuds are perfect. But there are pros and cons for this. First let us probe the pros. They are..
Pros:
1) Ideal noise isolation. I have to remind you that noise isolation is different from noise cancellation. I put these on while working and do not get disturbed by anyone near me. (Also maybe due to the fact that my coworkers are a bit scared of disturbing me)
These earbuds are really good at blocking out external sounds. Hence noise isolation.
Noise cancellation refers to a technology that creates white noise in the earphones which cancels out external Audio to focus on audio coming into the earbuds/headphones. Within this budget,do not expect real noise cancellation. Having said that, there earbuds are good at noise isolation.
2) They are perfect for helmet driver who love a call or music while driving. Ok, it is not recommended that you drive with your earbuds on but let’s say you are doing it anyway, these are perfect.
I love Music while driving but I always find earbuds to be pinching or stabbing into my ears. Normal broad sized earphones hurt my inner ears.
These earbuds are flat and go direct into my ears. They don’t hurt while I wear my helmet and are perfectly ergonomic.
3) Volume control and Mic. A 500 below product seldom comes with a good microphone and rarely comes with a volume control. The slider in this is decent.
Now I’m not saying it’s perfect. Because it is highly sensitive to even small touches so you need to use it for a few times to get the hang of it. But handy of course.
4) Extra buds for replacement. Handy, no Biggie but handy
5) The carry case is cute and handy. Well, everyone is giving out carry cases these days but the Cary case which comes with these earbuds is small, tiny and is perfect. This one has a small compartment to fit in the extra earbuds, the jack protector, the clip and the tie up velcro.
6) Yes, speaking of which, there is a jack protector. It is a small plastic cap which you can place on the jack to protect it from any surge or breakage when not used.
7) A velcro to tie the earbuds up
Cons:
Now there are not much cons I found with this product but here are what I thought are a tad bit annoying.
1) I expected the wire to be a thread/cloth based rope.
The images of product on display shows that the yellow grooves on black wire may seem that the earbuds are made out of cloth or thread but in reality, they are made from rubber/plastic.
The look and feel of it are okayish but can be overlooked given the good performance of the product.
2) The one and only issue with the performance of the product is its lack of bass.
The product gives you crisp and clear audio output but lacks in the bass department. I’m a bass lover and this has disappointed me but then again, I have other earbuds for the bass. I’m satisfied with this as a work and travel earphones. Best in its budget.
So that’s it guys. If you are looking for a travel and work buddy earbuds to help you get through your day very smoothly, go for it. It’s good on audio too. But if you are here just to buy something for big bass boost, then maybe these are not for you. Look for higher priced products or so.

It did not even last for 3 months. Left side of the earphones stopped working before the warranty period, i.e., before the third month of purchase. Tried contacting the customer service. But of no use. No response. It only had 3 months warranty from the date of purchase. 3 days prior to the end of the warranty period, the earphones got damaged. There is no visible damage in any part of the earphones. Don’t know why this happened.
N. B : Although the mic has good audio recording capability, the mic in my earphones was of no use. While calling anyone with this earphones, the person at the other end could not make out what I am saying for reasons unknown. It was like this since I’ve got the earphones. I came to realise it only after the 10 days replacement warranty of Amazon. So I couldn’t get it replaced. I did not care to contact the customer service then because I mostly listen to music.

Very responsive seller. Enthusiastic too. I wanted to use the product for some time and then give a review. In a month’s use, I figured that it’s quite a sturdy product. Products in the earphones category usually don’t last a long time. My experience says they stop working at least on one side after a few months of use…some within a couple of months. This is irrespective of what brand it is. Even the most popular brands have given up in just a few months in my experience. However this product from Everycom seems to be going strong so far and I hope it functions well for some time to come. One point to add is that I am greatly impressed with the box and other accessories it comes with which is not offered even in the most popular international brands. Kudos to Everycom on that!
This earphones was bought not for the best sound quality but sturdy build quality and durability. Hope it meets this expectation in the time to come.
