We were looking for a cost effective, yet effective, bare-bones option and this seemed to fit the bill. Coming from a Tier 3 town, we also wanted to go with a brand that had a good service presence – Faber seemed to fit that.
Delivery was a breeze and so was the installation. The local installer, Sriman, did a great professional job of advising me about the pros and cons and the installation itself. Still early days – will have to wait and see how it performs over time. Happy with it so far!
Oh, one annoying aspect that usually happens with these 90 degree chimney installs – i tend to bang my head against it while looking over dishes on the stove 🤷♂️. The 45 degree angled ones should fare better on that count. Obviously more expensive.
Yet another important thing to keep in mind – depending on the situation in your kitchen, installation cost could compete with the cost of the chimney! Mine cost approx 7000 on Amazon and installation was 5000!
