Best part is knowing roughly the temp. of water by touching and switching off, say for warm water for drinking as the pot is metallic. Thus saving electricity.

External finish was not up to standard. Blotches and patches seen. It seems like a “goods returned” by 4 to 5 previous customers

Not much to review about a electric kettle. Only thing that matters is how long will it(its coil) last, which we will only know when it dies.
It was one of the cheaper products and since there is not much technology involved, I had no intent of buying anything more highly priced(most likely all made in China anyways).
But I have give it a rating it 3 stars for a very specific reason, the purposely hid an important aspect of this product…ie the kettle is not a seamless/extruded one but made by joining the sheet and then attaching the bottom. That’s why they put 5-6 pictures BUT not a single pic with the lid open. Anyways I am not returning it and will use it till it lasts.
