The first one I bought was NOT waterproof–I went wading with a 3-year old, picked him up out of the water and it steamed up later in the day. So I re-read the description that it was waterproof to 50M and gave it another try. Showered with this one and it was good. Syncing the first time around was tricky with both–with no data to sync it won’t pick anything up right away, so go take a walk and then try. Make sure Bluetooth is on and try again if it fails. You can set your step goal so you push yourself to achieve a certain amount of activity in a day. I do wish that with the Garmin name it actually had GPS to track my mileage like my phone does. A smaller size face for a woman’s wrist would also be a wonderful option. I find this band difficult to sleep in, waking with sore tendons. Since it’s new and I think sleep tracking is cool to see, I’ve put it loosely on the other arm to sleep, I take it off to shower and move it to the right arm for the day. I bought the white Sport edition and purchased a blue band because I thought the white would turn dingy pretty quickly. It’s only been a week, so no data on that, yet. The extra band was only $7 at Amazon, so it’s all good.

Great activity tracker that makes sure you remember to keep moving (love the move bar!). It’s great to wear every day in the office and feels great on the wrist. The black dials are a little hard to see in low light conditions, which is my only gripe. The watch looks really slick and people can’t believe it also tracks movement. I bought this on sale and it was a great buy. The app is easy to use and offers many features. Pairing is done with the press of one button and takes less than a minute, very simple process. I’d recommend this ‘stealth’ activity tracker.

The glass protector came with two pieces and I can see why. Although they come with 2 perfect circles that sits on the watch precisely, the quality isn’t too great in my opinion.
With normal wear, a few small hits on the wall, tables, maybe a drop on the floor here and there the outter edges of the circle became shattered in small portions. There are small chips that look like broken glass (obviously) all around the outter parts of the circle while the inside part of the watch (the face) is in good condition.
You may be thinking, “well you did say the watch hit a couple of places and dropped it on the floor, what do you expect?” well so has my phone screen protector with no case and the edges of the glass are still fine.
Overall, it’s a great buy for the price, I just expected the glass to not chip as much as it did.

Watch is good but not worth the price in any sense . I wear it 24*7 ,. But has major synching issue. MI bands worth less than 1k is much better and funtional than this watch. If you dont want the look of a contemporary watch buy fitbits else if u want a neat contemporary design with these functionality go with Withings watches.
This is just waste of money.
Also have been raising the problem with gramin technical support, but no response .

Brilliant smart watch from Garmin at this price range. Keeps me active with that red bar on the right, and keeps me fit with the steps bar on the left. Does excellently well what I bought it for. Additionally, you can use other activity features once you have the app on your phone. I want to buy extra straps for this clinical watch now.

As i bought this watch for gifting it to my wife so my experience was a bitter curry. During setting my filters on female and price range i saw it in female section. Watch is nowhere looks perfect for female wearable. Its an outdoor type male watch.
One more thing i would like to add that while purchasing of a new thing you expect things fresh. But watch’s out box seems old and that made many doubts.
Apart everything i used many product’s from GARMIN likr fitness band and GPS devices and satisfied on them.

Simple, clean design. I like that you can see the move alert and step progress bar at a glance. I also like that it looks like a traditional watch and not a fitness tracker. However, note that this is a very simple (and plain looking) watch. If you want a full featured fitness tracker you should probably keep looking. This watch doesn’t have a stop watch, vibrating alarm, GPS, heart rate monitor or any bells and whistles beyond a step counter. If you just want a simple devices to help you remember to walk more, then this will do that.

This watch is truly beautiful on. It tracks steps reliably (I have tested it in many varying scenarios, including without arms swinging) and it’s the most accurate I’ve worn. The only negative is it doesn’t have a backlight, if it did it would be the perfect watch.
