Godrej 1.4 Ton 3 Star, 5-in-1 Convertible Cooling, Inverter Split AC (Copper, I-Sense Technology, 2023 Model, AC 1.4T EI 18TINV3R32 WWC, White)

The product was delivered in time without any damage. However, it was detected that the plastic locking device of the cover was broken. It is quite a delicate item. Also, no batteries (2 AAA) was provided to run the remote. The remote display was defective. I am not sure whether they will replace them or not.

There was a big issue while installing. What I learned later that it is compulsory to get the installation done by M/s Godrej else the warranty would be void. They had offloaded the installation to a third party vendor. A technician came and gave an estimate of ~Rs, 4500 including the standard installation charge of Rs. 1416 without providing the rate list. This is not mentioned in the terms of sale. Also, his manager quite rudely told me that I have to procure the additional materials (at absurd rates) from them else they won’t install. I refused the offer and the technician left. I had a talk with the Godrej service manager and he agreed to mail me the rate list that never came.

I procured the additional materials from market that consisted of stand, wrapping tape, water drainage pipe, 15Amp plug, batteries that was well within Rs.1000. Another technician came and did the job for Rs. 1700 including the standard installation charge + making the hole in the wall on the 6th day. The technician was just a matriculate with no training by Godrej, no safety measures, no ladder etc.

Please beware of such sharp practices by the manufacturer.

Have many pros – 1.Nice airconditioner air throw is very good can cool room of 170 sq feet just in 20 to 30 min.
2. Have eco , turbo , silent and 4 way swing mode for your better experience , if u think your indoor unit is making more noise while cooling then use silent mode its a magical feature it will reduce ac sound almost negligible
3.Actual capacity of this aircon is also very good of 1.49 ton
4. Have 4 star with 2023 ISEER Rating of 4.60 no other brand have this kind of configration on this price point even 5 star acs of other brands dont have actual capacity of 1.49 ton , and this iseer rating
only one con – outdoor unit make a bit more noise then other brands but only in a certain modes like turbo or full capacity mode if u planning to buy this ac my suggestion is install it bit far from your room and in open environment i install it on my terace so i dont feel any noice coming inside the room so install it a bit far from your indoor unit so that it can not impact your cooling experience..

And also guys use some sense every machine make noise it depend upon you how you operate it if you know how to operate airconditioner then definately you dont feel any noise

Very good AC. Fast cooling. I like it

overall good. however it is not energy saving. for one month bill is around 4K, daily uses around 6hrs.
