The duct which conducts cold air from the freezer unit to the refrigerator unit below gets blocked due to ice formation. As a result, the temperature of the refrigerator unit does not go below 12C, which ideally should reach around 3C (depending on the setting.)
After complaining to Haier, their technician suggested that they will try to add some insulation to prevent the ice formation.
This model has a major flaw, and Haier must address this issue urgently.
Update1 : The problem persists even after the technician added some insulation around the duct. Hair needs to sort this issue immediately. Changed rating to 1 star.
Update2 : Haier replaced the sensor, but the problem was not resolved. They will now need to replace this refrigerator unit.
Update3 : Haier replaced the whole unit, but the problem did not go away. Seems to be a major defect in this model.

Newer buy Haier refreezretor Because they very cheap in service after buying. Without checking they asking money. Even they clearly don’t know what’s the problem and what is the cost. Before coming they ask for their charges first and then said samne se call aayega to cancel kar do ki mana kiya hai complaint.

Seller is giving used and damaged product dont go for this. Check the photos how the coils and the motor condition is.

Product is good but if you are buying it in Amazon on pay later it’s a scam from IDFC. Anyways I was ready to pay full amount to vendor but Amazon do not have that service.
